JOB OVERVIEW

LINK TO APPLY BELOW - Taking Applications Until Saturday September 19th.

You'll write and send our weekly newsletter, write our blog, run our social media calendar, and edit everything we publish — owning the publication side of a brand-new marketing team at a growing real estate media company.

Full-time, 40 hours/week. Direct hire. Long-term.
$1,200 – $1,900 USD/month, depending on experience.

WHY THIS IS A GOOD JOB

- Direct hire, full-time, long-term. You work for Crossgate, not through an agency.
- Above-market pay. We're paying $1,200–1,900 because writing well for a US professional audience is a real skill and we want someone who has it.
- A publication that's yours from day one. You'll shape what our newsletter becomes — voice, format, the whole thing.
- An expert who feeds you the material every week. Rebecca, our business development lead and a former real estate agent, does a recorded weekly call with you on what's happening in the market. You turn it into content.
- Direct access to leadership. You'd report to Nathan, Owner of Crossgate. No layers.
- Real influence. You'll be the one holding the numbers, and the one who d ---------- what we do more and less of.

ABOUT CROSSGATE REALTY MEDIA

We're a real estate media company. Our editors produce photos, video, 3D tours, and drone work for real estate agents, brokerages, and home builders across multiple US markets — around 200 properties a month. We're expanding into new markets and adding photographers regularly, and we've never had a marketing team. That's what you'd help build.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Write and send our weekly newsletter. It alternates — one week for real estate agents, the next for home builders. Think Morning Brew: short, useful, worth opening.
- Write and publish a blog posts.
- Own the content calendar across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn — what goes out, when, and whether it's good enough.
- Edit and schedule the content our social media creator produces. You're the last set of eyes on everything we publish.
- Send client campaigns — new market launches, new services, new product launches, etc.
- Track what's working and report weekly.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- 3+ years in content, editorial, or marketing — ideally including a recurring publication you personally kept on schedule.
- Excellent written English. The most important thing on this list. You'll write for a US professional audience in our voice.
- Real editing ability — you can take a mediocre draft and make it good, not just fix the grammar.
- Genuinely organized. Deadlines are something you're good at, not something you tolerate.
- Comfortable with an email platform (Beehiiv, Kit, Mailchimp, or similar) and social scheduling tools.
- Enough design and video ability to fix a caption or trim a clip without waiting on someone.
- Willing to tell people their work isn't ready — including us.

ONE HONEST NOTE

This is a writing and marketing job for Crossgate's own brand — not video or photo editing. We have a separate team of editors for client work, and you'd never touch a client deliverable. It's also not a coordination role: you write and produce, you don't just move other people's work through a calendar.
