JOB OVERVIEW

We are hiring an exceptional performance-marketing specialist to modify, manage and scale a lead-generation campaign for an Australian Mortgage Freedom business. Our core offer is Mortgage Freedom in 10 Years.

This is not a role for a general social-media manager or a contractor learning paid acquisition on the job.

We want to hear from the best: a proven operator who can independently diagnose performance issues, protect lead quality, make sound commercial decisions, and scale a successful acquisition system with discipline.

Campaign Context and Growth Plan

The campaign will launch on Meta, initially targeting 14 selected Brisbane suburbs. Initial advertising spend will be AUD $500–$600 per week, with an initial operating target of 2 qualified leads per week. A qualified lead will be defined with us before launch using agreed eligibility and quality criteria; success will be assessed on lead quality, not lead volume alone. The funnel will support this process by filtering and qualifying prospects before they enter the sales process.

Once the campaign has proven itself, the objective is to scale progressively to 4, 6, 8, 10 and then more qualified leads per week, then expand nationally across Australia. Google Ads will be introduced as the campaign grows. You must therefore be genuinely strong in both Meta and Google Ads and comfortable operating at substantially higher budgets and geographic coverage.

Scope of the Role
You will own the day-to-day paid-acquisition management within our approved strategy. This includes campaign set-up, monitoring, testing, optimisation, troubleshooting, reporting and recommendations. You will be expected to work proactively rather than wait to be told when something is not working.

Your ongoing responsibilities will include the following.
•Manage, test and optimise Meta campaigns from launch.
•Build and manage Google Ads when it is introduced, including keyword strategy, search-term hygiene, conversion tracking and budget allocation.
•Test and improve audiences, targeting approach, creative angles, copy, offers, landing-page alignment, budgets and conversion performance.
•Monitor lead quality through the full funnel, not simply cost per lead or form submissions.
•Maintain reliable attribution and lead capture, including campaign naming, UTM discipline, platform tracking, GoHighLevel fields and source visibility.
•Review lead outcomes with us and use that feedback to improve targeting, messaging and qualification.
•Identify performance risks or technical faults early, explain the cause plainly and recommend a practical remedy.
•Provide concise weekly reporting and a clear monthly optimisation plan.
•Recommend when to hold, reduce or increase spend based on evidence, rather than scaling on vanity metrics.

The successful contractor will also advise on creative testing. Please state clearly in your application what is included in your management fee: campaign strategy, ad copy, static-creative production, video or UGC production, creative briefing, landing-page copy, or any other deliverables. Work that is not included must be scoped and approved separately before it begins.

GoHighLevel, Landing Pages and Tracking

Everything is built and owned in our existing GoHighLevel account. You must be highly confident working with GoHighLevel funnels, landing pages, forms, custom fields, automations, workflows, notifications and lead-source tracking.

Over the next 2 to 3 weeks we will review the existing landing pages and provide the required pre-launch changes. Before accepting the work, you will review the existing GoHighLevel set-up and confirm that you can make the requested modifications while preserving our approved branding, colours, fonts, styling and design.

Landing-page modifications are not included in the ongoing management fee. Any approved landing-page work will be paid separately and in addition to the monthly management fee, at your agreed hourly rate. Before any work begins, you must provide an itemised hourly rate and a time estimate for approval.

Before launch, you will test and document the complete lead journey:

Ad → Landing Page → Form → GoHighLevel → Workflow → Notification → Lead record → Lead-source reporting

The launch is not complete until the journey has been tested successfully using a real test submission and any faults have been rectified. You must be able to troubleshoot tracking and lead-capture issues across the ad platform, website or funnel, form, GoHighLevel and notification layers.

Compliance, Account Ownership and Change Control

As this is an education-focused campaign in the mortgage space, you must understand how to position and advertise mortgage education effectively while working within applicable advertising-platform requirements. You must be confident navigating the distinction between educational content and financial-product promotion, including appropriate messaging, claims, targeting and approvals. You must also flag any proposed ad copy, targeting, landing-page content or tracking approach that could create a platform-policy or compliance risk.

All advertising accounts, pixels, data, audiences, tracking assets, campaign history, landing pages, GoHighLevel assets and creative files remain our property. Work must be performed in our existing business-owned accounts; no campaign or tracking asset is to be held solely in a contractor-owned account.

No material change to budget, offer, core claims, landing-page structure, conversion event, payment settings or external integration may be made without our written approval. You will maintain a clear change log for material campaign, funnel and tracking changes, including the purpose of the change and the resulting outcome.

Performance Management and Reporting
The first engagement will be a paid 30-day initial period, allowing both parties to confirm working fit, technical competence, reporting quality, responsiveness and the integrity of the campaign set-up. Continued engagement and fee increases will be based on the actual scope, advertising spend, lead volume, geographic expansion and demonstrated contribution to qualified-lead performance. No fixed lead volume is guaranteed while the campaign is being tested and validated.

Your weekly update must be concise and commercially useful. It should show spend, leads, qualified leads where outcome data is available, cost per lead, cost per qualified lead where measurable, landing-page conversion rate, key tests or changes, material issues and the next actions. Your monthly review should explain what was learned, what will be stopped or scaled, and the proposed testing and budget plan for the following month.

• Critical issues: Broken landing page, failed form or workflow, tracking or lead-capture failure, billing issue, or campaign disruption that could result in advertising spend without leads being captured. Required response time: within 30 minutes.
• Important issues: Material performance deterioration, rejected ads affecting an active campaign, reporting discrepancies, or non-critical funnel faults. Required response time: within 4 hours.
• Routine matters: Optimisation questions, planned testing, reporting and general requests. Required response time: within 24 hours.

Please apply only if you can reliably meet these service levels, including appropriate availability for Australian business operations. In your application, state your location, time zone, normal working hours and how urgent issues will be handled outside those hours.

Essential Experience

You must have demonstrable, hands-on experience in all of the following areas:
•Meta Ads for lead generation, including campaign diagnosis, creative testing, optimisation and budget scaling.
•Google Ads for lead generation, including conversion tracking, keyword strategy, search-term analysis and campaign optimisation.
•GoHighLevel funnels, forms, workflows, automations and lead-source visibility.
•Conversion-rate optimisation for lead-generation landing pages and forms.
•Tracking, attribution, pixel or tag configuration, UTM governance and lead-capture troubleshooting.
•Lead-quality analysis and feedback loops with a sales or client-service team.
•Structured experimentation: forming a hypothesis, testing it, interpreting results and acting on the evidence.
•Clear written communication, strong analytical judgement, commercial awareness and independent problem-solving.

Direct experience with Australian lead generation, financial services, mortgages or other regulated consumer categories is strongly preferred. If you do not have that exact sector experience, explain why your comparable experience equips you to manage it safely and effectively.

Compensation and Commercial Terms
The initial ongoing management fee is AUD $200 per week, with advertising spend paid separately. Landing-page, GoHighLevel or other approved project work is paid separately at the agreed hourly rate or fixed quote.

The management fee will be reviewed and increased as campaign scope increases. In your application, provide your proposed management-fee structure for higher advertising spend, additional campaigns, Google Ads management, increased qualified-lead volume and national expansion. We are looking for transparent commercial terms and no unapproved add-on costs.

Application Requirements

A CV alone will not be sufficient. Submit a concise, tailored application that addresses each item below and demonstrates what you personally did, not only what a former agency or team achieved.

1.Summarise your direct Meta Ads experience, including the types of lead-generation campaigns and budgets you have managed.

2.Summarise your direct Google Ads experience, including search, conversion tracking and optimisation responsibilities.

3.Describe your GoHighLevel experience, specifically funnels, forms, workflows, integrations and troubleshooting.

4.Provide two relevant lead-generation examples. For each, state the sector, starting challenge, your role, actions taken, timeframe and measurable result. Anonymised evidence is acceptable.

5.Explain one campaign you materially improved through testing or optimisation. Include the initial diagnosis, test or intervention, result and what you learned.

6.Provide your hourly rate for GoHighLevel and landing-page work, plus any separate rates for creative production, copywriting or other excluded services.

7.Confirm your location, time zone, availability and normal response time. Confirm explicitly that you can meet the response standards above.

8.Outline the first three things you would audit in our Meta-to-GoHighLevel funnel before launch, and why.

9.State your proposed fee structure as media spend, channel scope and geographic coverage increase.

10.Provide two professional references or client-verifiable proof points, where available.

Only 3 candidates will be shortlisted for a second-round practical assessment. This assessment will focus on how you diagnose a scenario, prioritise actions, identify tracking or funnel risks, and communicate a commercially sound recommendation.

Final Note

We are building a long-term acquisition engine, not hiring someone to watch a dashboard. We expect ownership, precision, honest reporting, reliable communication and consistent improvement.

We want to hear from the best. If you have the proven judgement, technical depth and commercial discipline to lead this work independently, we encourage you to apply.
