JOB OVERVIEW

As a premier electrical contracting firm, we are looking for a versatile and driven **Electrical Engineer** to join our team. This role is a hybrid of technical design, project management, and strategic bidding. You won’t just be sitting behind a desk; you will be the bridge between complex electrical blueprints and successful project completion.

Core Responsibilities
* **Design & Drafting: : Develop comprehensive **shop drawings** and technical layouts using **AutoCAD** and **Bluebeam**.
* **Project Coordination: : Read and interpret electrical drawings to create detailed work schedules, ensuring labor and materials align with project milestones.
* **Estimating & Bidding: : Analyze project specifications to prepare accurate and competitive bids for upcoming contracts.
* **Technical Compliance: : Ensure all designs and installations adhere to safety standards and industry regulations.
* **Cross-Functional Collaboration: : Act as the primary point of contact between the field crew, general contractors, and clients to ensure seamless project execution.

**Requirements & Qualifications**
* **Technical Proficiency: : Advanced skills in **AutoCAD** and **Bluebeam** are required for drafting and document markup.
* **Blueprint Literacy: : Mastery in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, one-line diagrams, and architectural floor plans.
* **Regulatory Knowledge: : A strong familiarity with the **National Electrical Code (NEC)** is a significant advantage and will be prioritized.
* **Organizational Skills: : Proven ability to manage project timelines, coordinate resources, and meet strict deadlines.
* **Communication: : Strong verbal and written skills to effectively relay technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
