Blue Tree Digital is a B2B link-building and digital PR agency serving SaaS, fintech, and cybersecurity clients worldwide. We place high-quality guest content in top-tier publications and are looking for a senior editorial lead to own the quality, framing, and delivery of our content pipeline. Our team is fully remote and async-friendly.

About the Role
This is a senior individual contributor role at the intersection of editorial judgment and outreach strategy. You will work closely with our Outreach and Operations lead to ensure every piece of content we submit is on-point, publication-ready, and built to earn the link.

This is not a copy editing position. You need strong editorial instincts, the ability to work independently, and experience managing content across multiple verticals.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop pitch angles, headlines, and structure for each guest post before writing begins
- Ensure every article meets the editorial standards of the target publication
- Identify and review client link placements so they read naturally without triggering editorial rejection
- Handle editor communication when publications raise questions or concerns
- Manage content submission timing, formatting, and handoffs

Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in B2B content, digital PR, or editorial — preferably inside a link-building or SEO agency
- Strong editorial instincts - you can spot a weak pitch or a stuffed link quickly.
- Familiarity with top-tier B2B publications such as Forbes, Entrepreneur, CSO Online, and The Fintech Times
- Experience managing content across multiple client verticals simultaneously
- Comfortable using AI tools and working in AI-assisted content workflows
- SEO literacy - you understand what makes a link placement valuable and what gets a piece rejected
- Native or near-native English with strong writing ability
- Reliable internet connection and ability to work independently

Nice to Have
- Hands-on experience with Ahrefs, Semrush, or similar tools
- Background in journalism, publishing, or editorial management
- Experience with Notion, HubSpot, or similar pipeline tools
