JOB OVERVIEW

Hello! We are an established digital media company producing high-quality, faceless YouTube videos across multiple channels and niches (documentary-style, storytelling, slideshow-based content).
We are looking for an EXPERIENCED Video Editor who already knows how to edit at a high level and understands YouTube content. We are scaling across different niches, so we need someone versatile who can adapt fast. We will train you on our specific style and workflows — but you must already master the fundamentals.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Edit engaging YouTube videos (10 to 20 minutes) following our proven formats.
Work with stock footage, AI-generated visuals, images, and graphical overlays.
Add transitions, text animations, sound effects, and background music to maximize retention.
Work flexibly across different channels and niches — you must be able to switch styles and understand what each type of content requires.
Follow our visual guidelines (pacing, style, hooks) tailored to the US market.
REQUIREMENTS:
Proven experience editing YouTube content — this is mandatory. A strong portfolio is required (documentary, true crime, storytelling, or similar long-form content is a huge plus).
Real understanding of YouTube engagement dynamics: retention, pacing, how to hook viewers in the first 30 seconds.
Ability to understand the content you're editing — not just cutting clips, but making editorial choices that fit the niche and the story.
Comfortable with any editing software (CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, Filmora, Premiere — we care about the result, not the tool).
Openness to AI video generation tools (e.g. Veo, Kling, Runway). Prior AI experience is a plus, but curiosity and fast learning are enough — we'll guide you on our workflows.
Ability to source high-quality visual elements (stock footage, sound design).
Great communication skills and the ability to meet weekly deadlines.
