ABOUT US

We're a fast-growing ecommerce company focused on one thing: building assets that generate revenue.
We're looking for an Ecommerce Web Designer who thinks like a marketer first and a designer second.
Great design isn't measured by awards or aesthetics - it's measured by conversion rate, average order value, engagement, and revenue.

This is NOT a traditional graphic design role.

You should understand why people buy, how attention flows through a page, and how design influences purchasing decisions.

If you can create beautiful designs but can't explain why they convert, this role isn't for you.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Turn marketing ideas, offers, and copy into high-converting ecommerce experiences.

You'll work closely with our marketing team to create websites, landing pages, emails, and creative assets designed to generate sales.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Design:

- Ecommerce websites
- Sales pages
- Landing pages
- Product pages
- Sales funnels
- Upsell pages
- Checkout experiences
- Ecommerce emails

CONVERSION MINDSET

You should understand:

- Offer positioning
- Consumer psychology
- Buyer behavior
- Information hierarchy
- Visual storytelling
- Attention flow
- CTA placement
- Trust and credibility
- Social proof
- Objection handling
- Scarcity and urgency
- Mobile-first design
- Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)

You should be able to explain WHY each section exists and how it helps move the customer toward a purchase.

DESIGN EXPERIENCE LEVEL

BASIC:

- Marketing banners and promotional graphics (example: 40% OFF Black Friday)
- Hero images for websites, emails, and ads
- Product imagery, banners, icons, and supporting visuals

INTERMEDIATE:

- Ecommerce email templates
- Promotional email campaigns
- Product launch emails
- Welcome and cart abandonment emails
- Post-purchase emails

ADVANCED:

- High-converting offer pages
- Landing pages and sales funnels
- Ecommerce websites
- Product pages and conversion-focused layouts
- Upsell pages
- Checkout experiences

For advanced projects, sales and marketing experience is important.

We're not looking for someone who simply makes pages look good. You need to understand what makes customers buy and how design can influence that decision.

EMAIL DESIGN

Create ecommerce emails focused on increasing:

- Clicks
- Engagement
- Conversions
- Revenue

Experience with promotional campaigns, product launches, welcome flows, cart abandonment, and post-purchase emails is preferred.

Coding is NOT required - we already have a developer.

WORKING HOURS

8am - 4pm PST availability

Reliable communication and consistent availability during PST hours are required because you'll work closely with our marketing team and developer.

- Thinks like a marketer first and designer second
- Strong ecommerce experience
- Understands conversion, not just aesthetics
- Can explain the reasoning behind design decisions
- Comfortable designing websites, landing pages, emails, and marketing creatives
- Can work independently and take direction
- Available during PST working hours

NOT A GOOD FIT IF:

- Your experience is primarily branding or logo design
- You focus on aesthetics without considering conversion
- You have little or no ecommerce experience
- You can only create static graphics
- You cannot explain the reasoning behind your designs
- You are unavailable during PST working hours
