We run two ecommerce stores and need a reliable, self-sufficient all-rounder to take ownership of the day-to-day digital operations. We've been burned before by people who talk a big game and underdeliver, so we're being very direct about what this role is and what we expect.
If you're the kind of person who figures things out, takes initiative, and actually gets things done without being chased, this role is for you. If you need constant hand-holding please don't apply.
What you'll be doing:
- Creating and scheduling social media content across platforms (primarily Meta) — both static graphics and short-form video
Using AI tools (such as CapCut, Canva AI, Runway, or similar) to produce video ads and static creatives for Meta campaigns — you don't need to be a professional videographer, but you need to be genuinely comfortable producing decent ad content using AI tools
- Monitoring stock levels across both stores and flagging low inventory or sourcing issues before they become problems
- Sourcing and coordinating UGC (user-generated content) creators — finding suitable creators, outreach, managing deliverables
- General ecommerce admin — product listings, order management support, basic store maintenance
- SEO tasks are a significant advantage — if you have experience with on-page SEO, product page optimisation, or ecommerce SEO specifically, make sure you tell us
What we require:
- Proven hands-on experience in ecommerce — you need to understand how online stores actually operate, not just in theory
- Real experience creating content for Meta
- Comfortable working independently across multiple tasks and stores without needing daily direction
- Strong written English for content creation and creator outreach
- Familiarity with AI content tools — we're not expecting Hollywood production quality, but you need to be able to produce clean, usable ad content
- Reliable setup — fast internet, your own computer, no recurring power or connectivity issues
What will make you stand out:
- Experience managing or running Meta ad campaigns (even at a basic level)
- Knowledge of Shopify or a similar ecommerce platform
- SEO experience — on-page, product descriptions, keyword research
- Previous experience sourcing or managing UGC creators
- Having worked across more than one brand or store at the same time
Interview process:
Shortlisted candidates will be given a small practical task — we'll ask you to create a sample social post or short video ad using AI tools for a fictional product. This will be paid. We want to see how you actually work, not just what you say you can do.
