Ecommerce Operations Manager

We are a UK-based, family-run fragrance company in need of operational excellence to support our current growth. Whilst the company has been established for over a decade, this area of the business is very much being built.

**The Role**
As Ecommerce Operations Manager, you'll manage the day-to-day operations of our Shopify Store, D2C channels & TikTok Shop, including implementation of inventory management and AI customer service tools as well as building operational processes and SOPs.

You'll sit within a wider ecommerce team that includes a dedicated Amazon Team, an internal
Commercial Director and external agency partners for both Shopify and TikTok. Directors hold
senior responsibility for stock management and logistics strategy.

**The day-to-day**
In a nutshell - Management of day-to-day operations, documentation of process, recommending improvements, ensuring implementation actually happens.
This is a hands-on role. We need someone who gets things done, not someone who advises from afar.

What You'll Do -
• **Shopify / D2C:** fulfilment process, stock management, customer service, and the operational setup needed to scale a D2C channel from an early stage properly
• **TikTok Shop:** manage TikTok Shop operations end-to-end, including Fulfilled By TikTok (FBT)
management and FBM fulfilment process; work closely with our TikTok agency on execution
and performance
• **Stock & inventory management:** oversee stock management across TikTok Shop and Shopify; manage stock and CS for eBay and Amazon FBM through shared tooling; lead implementation of an inventory management system
• **Customer service:** manage CS processes across all channels in scope; oversee selection and
implementation of an AI-powered CS platform to automate high-volume, repeatable queries;
own the process from setup through to handover.
• **SOPs & process:** document operational processes and SOPs for all the above — written clearly enough that the wider team can run them consistently without relying on you
**• Reporting & KPIs:** Own operational reporting and communication with all stakeholders, including tracking of KPI’s and operational metrics such as: *(FBT fill rates, out-of-stock reporting, order defect rate, return rate etc)*

**Essential Requirements:
•** Proven hands-on experience with TikTok Shop operations, including Fulfilled By TikTok (FBT)
• Direct experience managing Shopify at an operational level: fulfilment, stock, and day-to-day platform management
• Experience working with an inventory management system: Cin7, Linnworks, Brightpearl or
similar; specific platform matters less than having done it before
• Experience managing customer service processes across marketplace channels: owning the
process and the quality of output, not just responding to tickets
• A multi-channel background: comfortable with the operational differences between FBT, FBM
and D2C; knows what good looks like across each
• A doer: this is a management and execution role; you'll get things done and be accountable
for how they run, not just recommend and move on
• Have previous experience working with a start-up

**Desirable Requirements:**
• Experience managing eBay or Amazon FBM operations.
• Experience implementing customer service tooling or automation across marketplace
channels
• SOP writing and process documentation
• Experience working with or managing agency partners
• Familiarity with the beauty, fragrance or lifestyle category

Work Schedule:
This position is full-time; hours will be based on UK time zone, expected from 9am UK till 5pm UK. These hours are not flexible.

Salary is dependent on experience.
