JOB OVERVIEW

We’re looking for a **skilled e-commerce video editor to join our team long-term** and help us produce high-converting direct-response ads for Meta, TikTok, and other paid social platforms.

This is **not a one-off project**. We’re looking for someone who wants consistent work, can handle a steady creative workload, and is interested in **growing with the brand over time**.

You should already have experience editing **e-commerce ads**, including formats such as:

* UGC ads
* VSL-style ads
* Mashups
* Native-style ads
* Advertorial/story-driven creatives
* Direct-response product ads

We’ll provide scripts, raw footage, creative direction, and references. Your job is to turn those assets into ads that **grab attention, maintain retention, and drive conversions.**

### Responsibilities

* Edit raw footage into high-converting direct-response ad creatives
* Turn scripts and creative briefs into finished ads
* Create strong, engaging openings that hook viewers within the first few seconds
* Edit UGC, VSLs, mashups, native ads, and other e-commerce creative formats
* Use B-roll, captions, motion graphics, sound effects, music, pattern interrupts, and visual callouts where appropriate
* Match reference ads while also bringing your own creative judgment to the edit
* Create multiple variations of winning concepts when needed
* Make revisions based on feedback and ad performance
* Maintain **fast and consistent turnaround times**
* Communicate clearly and respond quickly

### Requirements

* **Proven experience editing e-commerce/direct-response ads**
* Strong portfolio of paid social ads you have personally edited
* Experience with **UGC, VSLs, mashups, and performance creatives**
* Strong understanding of pacing, hooks, retention, storytelling, and direct-response editing
* Ability to make an ad feel native to platforms like Meta and TikTok
* Ability to follow detailed creative briefs without needing constant supervision
* Excellent attention to detail
* Reliable communication
* **Fast turnaround — typically 1–3 days depending on the project**
* **Full-time or near full-time availability**
* Ability to handle a consistent volume of creatives every week
* Strong desire to work with us **long-term and grow alongside the brand**

### Important

We are **not looking for someone whose main focus is making videos look cinematic or pretty.**

These are **performance ads.**

Every editing decision should serve a purpose:

**Hook attention ? maintain retention ? communicate the message ? drive action.**

You should understand how to use pacing, visuals, B-roll, captions, pattern interrupts, emotional moments, and sound design to make someone continue watching.

Most videos will range from approximately **30 seconds to 2 minutes**, although some VSL-style creatives may be longer.
