JOB OVERVIEW

ERP & Inventory Systems Administrator – Experienced Candidates Only

$5–$7 USD/hour | Full-Time | 40 Hours/Week | Long-Term Remote Position

We are an established Irish company supplying doors, flooring, hardware and building products. We are looking for a highly experienced ERP & Inventory Systems Administrator to join us long-term.

This is NOT an entry-level position and NOT a general VA/data-entry role.

You will only be considered if you already have strong, hands-on professional experience working with ERP systems, inventory/stock control and product master data.

We are not looking to train someone from the beginning in ERP or inventory management. We will train the successful person on our specific ERP system, Intact IQ, but you must already understand ERP and inventory systems at an experienced level.

If your experience is mainly general VA work, basic data entry, order entry, Shopify/product uploading or simple administration, please do not apply.

The Role

Our ERP is Intact IQ. Your long-term goal will be to become our internal expert responsible for ERP product data, inventory accuracy and related systems.

Your responsibilities will include:

* ERP & product master data
* SKUs, supplier codes, barcodes and categories
* Inventory and stock control
* Stock takes and variance investigation
* UOMs, pack sizes and conversion factors
* Purchasing and goods received
* Pricing and product data
* Excel/CSV imports and exports
* Bulk product updates and data cleanup
* Product images and specifications
* Website product catalogue
* Identifying inefficient manual processes and improving/automating them
* Working with our external ERP support company

Your First Major Project

We have thousands of products in our ERP currently missing images.

We do not want someone who approaches this one product at a time.

We want someone experienced enough to look for the fastest scalable solution - supplier image libraries, SKU matching, Excel/CSV mapping, bulk downloading, bulk renaming, duplicate/variant matching and automation where appropriate.

If you receive 20,000 records, your first thought should be how to process them efficiently in bulk - not to start manually with record #1.

Experience Required

You should have at least 3 years of genuine hands-on ERP/inventory experience.

Experience with systems such as SAP Business One, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, Sage, Odoo, Intact IQ or another full ERP/inventory system is desirable.

You must be confident with:

ERP systems | Inventory | SKUs | Product Master Data | Stock takes | Stock Reconciliation | UOM | Purchasing | Goods Received | Excel | CSV | Large Datasets | Bulk Updates

Power Query, SQL, scripting or automation experience is a strong advantage.

4. You receive 20,000 products with missing images and 15,000 are from one supplier. Explain how you would approach this without processing the products individually.
5. ERP stock shows 24 units but the warehouse physically has 17. What would you investigate before adjusting the stock?
6. What Excel/data tools do you regularly use? Include any experience with XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Power Query, CSV imports/exports, SQL, scripting or automation.
7. Give a real example of a repetitive process you personally made significantly faster or automated.
8. What is your requested hourly rate in USD?

We are looking for one excellent person, not a large number of applicants.

For the right candidate, this is intended to be a stable, full-time position for many years, with increasing responsibility as you become our internal ERP expert.

$5–$7 USD per hour depending on demonstrated experience.
