Ecommerce Virtual Assistant – Amazon FBA/FBM & Shopify (Product & Brand Sourcing Focus)

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Ecommerce Virtual Assistant to support and grow our Amazon and Shopify businesses. This role is heavily focused on product research, brand sourcing, and supplier outreach, along with ongoing catalog and account support.
This is a long-term position for someone who understands Amazon’s ecosystem, can independently source profitable products and brands, and is comfortable using advanced research tools.

Key Responsibilities
Product & Brand Sourcing (Primary Focus)
• Conduct product and brand research for Amazon and Shopify
• Identify profitable, low-risk products using data-driven analysis
• Source wholesale, online arbitrage, private-label, and brand partnership opportunities
• Research brand eligibility, distribution rights, and resale policies
• Build and maintain a brand & supplier lead list
• Perform competitor analysis and pricing research
• Analyze demand, competition, Buy Box trends, and sales velocity

Amazon Account Support
• Support Amazon FBA & FBM operations
• Assist with product listings (creation, optimization, and maintenance)
• Track inventory levels and restock needs
• Analyze Keepa charts for pricing and sales rank history
• Support prep, shipment creation, and ASIN research

Shopify Support
• Assist with product uploads and catalog organization
• Research and upload winning products
• Coordinate basic order processing and fulfillment support
• Update product descriptions, pricing, and images
• Maintain accurate product data

Administrative & Reporting Tasks
• Maintain spreadsheets and dashboards (Google Sheets / Excel)
• Document sourcing criteria, SOPs, and workflows
• Provide weekly performance and sourcing reports
• Communicate findings clearly and proactively

Required Skills & Experience
Amazon & Ecommerce Experience
• Proven experience as an Amazon Virtual Assistant
• Strong understanding of:
o Amazon FBA & FBM
o Sales Rank, Buy Box, fees, ROI, and profit margins
o Amazon policies and restricted brands
• Experience supporting Shopify stores

• SmartScout (brand & competitor research)
• Keepa (price history, sales rank analysis)
• SellerAmp (SAS) or Tactical Arbitrage
• Amazon Seller Central
• Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Drive)
• Basic spreadsheet analysis (profit calculations, ROI)
Qualifications
• 1–3+ years experience supporting Amazon or ecommerce businesses
• Strong analytical and research skills
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Ability to work independently and follow SOPs
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills
• Reliable internet connection and availability
