JOB OVERVIEW

We are hiring a Health & Wellness Product Signal Researcher to identify real, early demand products that are already working in the market and surface that signal clearly so leadership can d ---------- what to test.

This role covers health, wellness, and skincare products.
More category-specific rules and nuances will be provided after onboarding.

This is not a creative role.
This is not a decision-making role.
This is a signal-detection role.

You are paid to touch reality early and often and report honestly what you find.

What You Do

Your job is to identify health, wellness, and skincare products that already show real traction and are early enough to scale, then package that information so leadership can d ---------- what to test.

You do not d ---------- what gets launched.
You do not set up products.
You do not make ads.

You surface signal, not opinions.

Core Objective

Find 20 testable health/wellness products per week

Leadership will approve ~5 products per week

You are evaluated on signal quality over time, not hype or vibes

What Counts as a “Good Product” (Hard Rules)

Every submitted product must meet ALL criteria below.

1) Proof of Demand

You must confirm:

5,000–10,000+ sales minimum (Amazon + TikTok Shop combined)

4.5?+ rating on TikTok Shop (when applicable)

If demand is old, unclear, or inflated, do not submit.

2) Cross-Platform Validation (Mandatory)

Each product must be validated across at least two platforms:

A. Facebook Ads Library

Product is actively being advertised

Multiple advertisers or creatives is a plus

Use all relevant keyword variations

B. Amazon

Same or very similar product

~5,000+ sales in the last month

Reviews largely positive

C. TikTok Shop

50+ videos

Growing revenue

4.5?+ rating when applicable

If it only works on one platform, do not submit.

3) Margin Viability

You must estimate whether the product can sell at 3x–5x cost.

Process:

Find a comparable product on AliExpress or Alibaba

Take listed price

Subtract $1–$2 to estimate real COGS

Compare against target selling price

Minimum standards

Target selling price: $25–$30+

Minimum acceptable markup: 3x

Ideal markup: 4x–5x

If margins are tight, still submit but flag clearly.

4) Short-Form Video Potential

Products should:

Demonstrate clearly on camera

Be easy to explain in short-form video

Feel native to TikTok-style content

Spark questions, comments, or debate

If it’s boring to watch, do not submit.

Weekly Output Requirements

20 complete product briefs per week

No partial submissions

No missed weeks

Consistency matters.

Required Product Brief Format

Each product must include:

Product name / description

Why it’s worth testing

What signal sparked interest

Where demand is showing

Platforms validated


Facebook
Ads Library findings

Amazon sales confirmation

Estimated cost & target price

AliExpress / Alibaba reference

Estimated markup (3x / 4x / 5x)

Existing angles being used

Common hooks or promises

Suggested new angle (based on gaps)

Confidence score (1–5)

Confidence Score Rules

5 = Extremely strong signal, multi-platform validation, obvious scale potential

3 = Solid signal, test-worthy, some risk

1–2 = Weak or early signal

?? Inflating confidence scores will be counted against you.
Accuracy > ego.

Handoff Process

You submit 20 briefs

Leadership approves ~5

Approved products are passed to the Product Setup Operator

Your job ends there

You do not follow up.
You do not argue rejections.

Set up products

Write ad copy

Create images

Contact factories

Argue decisions

Chase “cool” ideas without data

If you do these, you slow the system.

KPIs (How You’re Evaluated)

20 qualified products submitted weekly

% of products approved

Long-term success rate of approved products

Confidence score calibration

Weekly consistency

Compensation

Base pay: Stable monthly rate (discussed during interview)

Performance bonus:

$250 for every product that successfully scales

Signal quality is rewarded. Guessing is not.
