E-commerce Marketplace Operations Manager

Company: The Green Barn | Remote | Part-time (20h/week), growing to full-time (40h/week)

The role
We're looking for a reliable, organized E-commerce Marketplace Operations Manager to run the day-to-day operations of our marketplace stores. You'll monitor performance, manage stock and forecasts, keep our reporting sharp, and take the actions needed to actually improve results. You will start part-time at 20 hours/week, with the intention to grow into a fixed full-time position in the short term, with more responsibility and compensation.

The Green Barn builds e-commerce brands in consumer products. We've grown 300%+ over the past three years, primarily through ---------- — the leading marketplace in the Netherlands and Belgium, where we rank in the top 2% of sellers — alongside Amazon and our own webshops.

Main responsibilities
- Daily monitoring of our marketplaces
- Weekly and monthly performance reporting
- Manage stock & inventory levels
- Manage sales & purchasing forecasts
- Assist with other operational tasks

What we expect (NEED TO HAVE)
- Experience with e-commerce marketplace management — ---------- strongly preferred, Amazon experience also considered
- Reliable PC & strong internet connection
- Strong Excel skills: you can independently build and improve sheets
- English communication skills at C1 level or higher, written and spoken
- Comfortable working with Slack, Notion, Excel, and AI tools like Claude
- Accurate, independent, proactive, and structured working style
- Available for the fixed daily overlap window described below

Nice to have
- Experience with marketplace advertising (Bol PPC or Amazon PPC)
- Experience with product listing optimization

- $5–7/hour depending on experience
