(A) About AlgoGroup
AlgoGroup is a pet brand platform operating across Asia. We plug emerging pet brands into our distribution channels and scale what works, supported by a tight operations and reporting system (“BizOps”). We run a fast-paced environment focused on execution, clean tracking, and continuous improvement — this role is critical to keeping procurement and fulfilment running smoothly so customers (and clinics) get what they need on time.
(B) About the Role
We are hiring an E-commerce Executive to support the day-to-day operations of our Shopify store and related sales channels. This is an execution-heavy and coordination-heavy role. You will be responsible for keeping product data, inventory, fulfilment status, and internal trackers accurate — and for proactively following up when something is blocked or delayed.
You don’t need prior knowledge of our internal tools or workflows — we will train you. What matters most is attention to detail, strong follow-through, and comfort working with Shopify and spreadsheets.
(C) Responsibilities
(i) Shopify store operations (primary)
Manage and maintain Shopify product listings (pricing, inventory, collections, variants)
Upload new products and ensure accuracy of descriptions, images, and tags
Monitor inventory levels and flag replenishment or stock issues early
Support promotions, discounts, and product launches on Shopify
(ii) Order & fulfilment coordination
Monitor daily order flow and fulfilment status
Coordinate with fulfilment partners / internal teams on delays or exceptions
Track and follow up on issues such as missing items, partial fulfilment, or incorrect orders
(iii) Cross-team & customer communication
Provide clear, structured updates to internal stakeholders on store status, issues, and priorities
When required, assist with customer-facing communication related to order delays or fulfilment issues using templates
Proactively escalate issues instead of waiting for problems to resolve themselves
(iv) Reporting & tracking hygiene
Maintain accurate trackers (Google Sheets / Excel) for products, inventory, and operations
Ensure updates are done daily with clear ownership, status, and next actions
Escalate blockers that cannot be resolved within a reasonable timeframe
(D) Requirements (must-have)
Hands-on experience working with Shopify (store management, products, inventory, orders)
Strong attention to detail and discipline with tracking tools (Google Sheets / Excel)
Clear written communication and comfort with frequent follow-ups
Experience in e-commerce operations, admin coordination, inventory, or order fulfilment roles
Ability to work independently and execute tasks with minimal supervision
(E) Nice-to-have
Experience with Shopify apps and integrations
Exposure to multi-channel e-commerce (Amazon, TikTok Shop, Shopee, Lazada, etc.)
Basic understanding of SEO, product optimisation, or analytics
Experience supporting fast-growing or high-volume e-commerce stores
