We are a China-based product sourcing and fulfillment company helping ecommerce sellers with their China supply chain needs.
We’re looking for a business development and partnerships specialist to help us connect with Shopify store owners and sellers on other ecommerce platforms, primarily in the US and Europe.
Our goal is to bring more qualified sellers into paid trials and long-term cooperation with our sourcing and fulfillment team.
We are especially interested in candidates who have worked directly with ecommerce sellers and already have professional relationships that could lead to warm introductions.
WHO WE WANT TO CONNECT WITH
You will develop opportunities through two channels:
1. Direct seller outreach — our main priority
Find and connect with Shopify store owners, independent ecommerce brands, and sellers on other platforms who need China-based sourcing or fulfillment support.
Suitable prospects may be looking for:
- A reliable Chinese supplier or sourcing agent.
- An alternative or backup to their existing supplier.
- Support with product sourcing, supplier coordination, or quality control.
- Dropshipping fulfillment or bulk purchasing.
- Solutions to existing sourcing and fulfillment problems.
Prioritize sellers with active sales or a clear purchasing plan, products our team can support, and a genuine need for our services.
2. Referrals and channel partnerships
Build relationships with dropshipping educators, Shopify coaches, course creators, ecommerce agencies, consultants, and community owners whose students or clients may need our services.
The purpose of these partnerships is to generate relevant seller introductions and customer opportunities.
EXPERIENCE AND RELATIONSHIPS WE VALUE
Have you worked with Shopify sellers as a store operator, customer service representative, virtual assistant, account manager, or sourcing coordinator? That experience could be highly relevant to this role.
We particularly value candidates who:
- Have supported Shopify or other ecommerce sellers with store operations, customer service, order processing, product sourcing, or supplier coordination.
- Have communicated directly with store owners or business decision-makers.
- Understand common seller problems involving suppliers, orders, shipping, and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain professional relationships with sellers who may need China-based sourcing and fulfillment.
- Know dropshipping educators, Shopify coaches, agencies, or community owners who could introduce suitable sellers.
- Can arrange warm introductions with the other person’s permission.
You do not need a large network. A few relevant, trusted relationships can be valuable. Candidates without existing connections are also welcome if they can demonstrate strong customer development skills.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Research and qualify potential ecommerce customers and referral partners.
- Identify and contact relevant owners and decision-makers.
- Where appropriate, approach your existing professional network to explore potential introductions.
- Send personalized outreach through appropriate channels, including email, LinkedIn, and relevant online communities.
- Handle initial replies and follow up consistently.
- Understand prospects’ products, sourcing arrangements, order volume, target markets, and supply chain needs.
- Arrange qualified conversations and coordinate quotation requests with our China team.
- Help interested sellers move toward trial orders and ongoing cooperation.
- Develop referral relationships with educators, agencies, and community owners.
- Maintain accurate records of contacts, conversations, opportunities, and next steps in a shared spreadsheet or CRM.
- Report which approaches generate qualified conversations and customers.
Our China team will confirm product feasibility, approve pricing and service commitments, and handle sourcing and fulfillment operations.
REQUIREMENTS
- Strong written English and the ability to communicate clearly in English during business conversations.
- Relevant experience in ecommerce support, B2B outreach, lead generation, appointment setting, sales, or partnership development.
- Familiarity with Shopify, ecommerce operations, dropshipping, or China supply chains.
- Ability to identify customer needs and qualify opportunities—not simply collect contact lists.
- Strong organization, consistent follow-up, and accurate recordkeeping.
- Ability to work independently and learn our services.
- Good judgment when communicating with potential customers.
Please do not promise prices, delivery times, guarantees, or services that our team has not approved.
HOW WE MEASURE SUCCESS
We evaluate:
- Relevant, qualified seller conversations.
- Warm introductions to suitable sellers and referral partners.
- Qualified quotation requests and trial-order opportunities.
- New paying customers and repeat cooperation.
- Accurate records and consistent follow-up.
Contact-list size and message volume alone are not measures of success. We will review results alongside our team’s pricing, response times, and delivery performance.
SCHEDULE AND COMPENSATION
- Part-time: approximately 20 hours per week.
- Agreed overlap with our China team during business hours, with flexibility for conversations in the target market.
- Base pay: USD $500–$800 per month, depending on experience.
- Additional performance bonuses and successful customer referral commissions under a written agreement.
- Referral qualification, attribution, and payment terms will be agreed before outreach begins.
- Shortlisted candidates may complete a paid practical assessment.
- Initial paid 30-day engagement, with the opportunity for long-term cooperation.
HOW TO APPLY
Start your application with SELLER PARTNER and answer these questions:
1. Relevant experience: Have you provided services to Shopify or other ecommerce sellers? Describe your responsibilities and whether you communicated directly with owners or decision-makers.
2. Customer development: Describe one relevant outreach, sales, or referral project. What did you personally do, and what results did you achieve? Anonymized examples are welcome. If you have not done this before, please say so.
3. Existing relationships: Do you currently know sellers, educators, coaches, or agency owners who might be open to an introduction? Describe the relationship, how recently you were in contact, and why our services could be relevant. Do not provide names or private contact details at this stage.
4. Outreach sample: Write a four-sentence message to a Shopify seller who already has a supplier. Use only the company information in this post; do not assume specific prices, delivery times, or guarantees.
5. Availability and expectations: State your weekly availability, expected compensation, and whether your strengths are direct seller outreach, warm introductions, channel partnerships, or a combination.
Please apply through OnlineJobs.ph. No live outreach or introductions are required during the application process.
We respect your professional relationships. Do not share confidential customer lists, private account information, or materials belonging to previous employers or clients.
