JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a reliable and resourceful **Virtual Assistant with some e-commerce experience** to help us with a variety of tasks across our online businesses.

This is not a traditional full-time position with the same workload every day.

You will receive a **fixed salary of $250/month**, even during quieter periods. Some weeks, you may have very little or nothing to do. Other weeks, we may need your help with several tasks such as editing websites, researching competitors, finding products, or organizing information.

We are looking for someone flexible who can become our go-to VA for general e-commerce tasks.

### What You May Work On

Your responsibilities may include:

* Making edits to Shopify stores
* Editing Shopify themes and existing pages
* Creating or adapting simple landing pages
* Uploading products, images, copy, and other store content
* Researching competitors and their websites
* Researching products and new e-commerce opportunities
* Using the Facebook Ads Library to research competitors and advertisements
* Basic research related to Facebook Ads
* Organizing research and data in Google Sheets or documents
* Finding examples, references, products, suppliers, websites, or advertisements
* Handling various small operational e-commerce tasks as needed

The type of work can vary significantly from week to week.

### Ideal Candidate

You do not need to be an expert in everything, but you should already understand the basics of e-commerce.

We prefer someone who:

* Has previously worked with an e-commerce business or e-commerce entrepreneur
* Has experience using Shopify
* Is comfortable navigating and modifying Shopify themes
* Can make basic landing page or website modifications
* Understands the basics of Facebook Ads
* Knows how to use the Facebook Ads Library
* Is comfortable researching competitors
* Can perform product research
* Learns new tools quickly
* Can follow Loom videos and written instructions
* Pays attention to details
* Communicates clearly
* Is reliable and responsive

Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus, but not mandatory.

### Workload & Compensation

**Salary: $250 USD per month**

This is a fixed monthly payment.

The workload is flexible and will not necessarily be consistent.

For example:

One week, you might have almost no tasks.

Another week, you might be asked to:

* Modify a few Shopify pages
* Research 10 competitors
* Find advertisements in the Facebook Ads Library
* Research a new product
* Complete several smaller e-commerce tasks

We are looking for someone who is comfortable with this type of flexible arrangement.

If you are reliable, learn quickly, and become useful across different parts of the business, there may be opportunities for increased responsibilities and compensation in the future.
