Promethean is a US-based e-commerce management agency. Amazon is the core of everything we do — but we go where our clients need us. We also work across TikTok Shop, Shopify, eBay, and Walmart when the business calls for it. Our goal is to be the single operator a client trusts to grow their entire e-commerce presence, with Amazon always at the center.

This role is one of the most important hires Promethean will ever make. Not because of the tasks involved — but because of what it represents. You will be the first person to join this team. That means you will work directly with the founder, one on one, every day. No layers, no middlemen, no getting lost in a large organization. Just two people building something together.

The founder has 15 years of e-commerce experience across Amazon and beyond. You will learn from that directly. Every decision, every challenge, every win — you will be in the middle of it. This is not a role where you execute quietly in the background. This is a role where you show up, take ownership, and grow into a leader.

The immediate mission is to step in and take ownership of the day-to-day workload across our current brands. The bigger mission is to help build the systems and processes that let Promethean confidently onboard new clients and grow the team. When we hire again, we expect this person to help lead that team. You are not just the first hire — you are the foundation the rest of the team gets built on.

ABOUT THE ROLE
================================================

IMPORTANT: Fluent English — both written and spoken — is a firm requirement for this role. You will be reading and writing in English daily, and clear communication is essential to how we work.

- Amazon is the primary focus. The majority of your day will be spent inside Amazon Seller Central. You need to know the platform deeply — listings, catalog, backend, case management, account health — and be comfortable troubleshooting when things break.

- Multi-platform support is part of the job. When clients need it, we go beyond Amazon. You will work across TikTok Shop, Shopify, eBay, and Walmart. Amazon fluency comes first, but comfort across platforms is expected.

- You will work directly with the founder. This is not a role where you disappear into a task queue. You will collaborate closely, share ideas, flag problems, and help shape how the operation runs. Input is encouraged here.

- AI is on the roadmap and we want your help getting there. We are actively exploring how to use AI to build better systems and automate repetitive work. You do not need to be an expert — but you should be curious, open to experimenting, and willing to bring ideas to the table.

- This is an operations role, not just a task list. You will own recurring daily, weekly, and monthly work across our brands, and help build the SOPs that make that work repeatable as we grow.

- You will work behind the scenes. All client communication stays with the founder for now. Your job is execution and process-building. As you grow into the role, you may take on sending client reports.

- Your first major project is already waiting. We have a full Amazon catalog cleanup underway that requires heavy troubleshooting, listing fixes, and case management with Amazon support. You will be jumping in on this from day one.

DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Execute daily, weekly, and monthly account management tasks across 3 active brands on Amazon
- Manage and resolve listing suppressions — diagnose the issue, implement the fix, track to resolution
- Open, manage, and follow up on Amazon Seller Central cases end-to-end
- Update and optimize listing content: titles, bullets, descriptions, backend keywords, and attributes
- Work through Amazon's backend: variation structures, parent/child relationships, category attributes, and flat file uploads
- Monitor and flag account health issues, Buy Box alerts, and suppressed or stranded inventory
- Support catalog cleanup and listing creation projects, including bulk uploads and spreadsheet-based fixes
- Manage inventory forecasting across all accounts — tracking stock levels, flagging low inventory, and building reorder projections to prevent stockouts and lost sales
- Coordinate and place purchase orders with each brand, ensuring the right quantities are ordered at the right time based on forecasts and sales velocity
- Help document the processes behind everything you do, building SOPs that a future tea ---------- mber could follow
- Assist with Walmart and eBay account tasks as those channels expand

WORK HOURS AND TIME ZONE
================================================

We want you to do your best work, and that means working at a time that works for you. Our long-term plan is for this role to operate primarily on Philippine time.

During the onboarding and integration period, we will need regular overlap with Mountain Standard Time (MST). We will hold a working session of 2 to 3 hours per day, at one of the following times:

Option A: 9:00 AM MST (12:00 AM - 1:00 AM PH time)
Option B: 3:00 PM MST (6:00 AM - 7:00 AM PH time)

Once you are fully integrated, you will transition to working almost entirely on Philippine time. The only required MST overlap will be a brief weekly check-in. We want this to be a long-term role that fits your life — the early schedule is a temporary investment in getting you set up for success.
