About the Role
KittySpout is looking for an E-Commerce Affiliate Manager to join our team!

This role reports directly to our Partnerships & Social Media Manager. We need someone to
own the operational engine behind our product seeding, affiliate program, and partnership
outreach — you’ll be the person who makes sure creators get product in their hands, affiliate
links are live and tracked, invoices and admin are handled, and the program actually grows and
generates more revenue. That is the main goal of this role.

This isn’t a small portfolio role. We’re managing hundreds of active creator relationships across
KittySpout and our newest brand, DoggySpout, with plans to scale well beyond that. You’ll be
doing outreach to 300+ creators per month, managing affiliate relationships at scale, partnering
with media outlets and publications, and reporting on what’s actually converting. If you’re

KittySpout is a premium DTC brand selling stainless steel cat water fountains, filters, and
accessories. We sell across Shopify, Amazon, and Chewy, and we’re one of the fastest-growing
brands in the pet space — $22M+ in revenue and targeting $45–50M in 2026. We recently
launched DoggySpout, expanding into an entirely new vertical and customer base. We’re lean,

Key Objectives
• Own creator outreach for product seeding at high volume — identifying, vetting, and
contacting 300+ creators per month across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube to get
KittySpout and DoggySpout products into the right hands.
• Set up and manage affiliate links and commission tracking through platforms like
Refersion or Social Snowball — ensuring every creator has a working link and payouts
are accurate.
• Manage the full creator relationship lifecycle after seeding — follow-ups, content
reminders, reactivation of inactive creators, and escalation of top performers for deeper
partnerships. You’ll be managing 300+ active relationships and scaling toward 500+.
• Go beyond creators — proactively pursue partnerships with media outlets, publications,
blogs, and other affiliate channels to drive new distribution and revenue. Think Forbes
placements, niche pet publications, and high-authority sites, not just influencers.
• Handle all invoicing and administrative work with creators and affiliates — commission
payouts, contracts, payment tracking, and any creator-facing admin so nothing slows
down the program.
• Deliver weekly reporting on creator posts, affiliate conversions, media partnership
performance, and seeding pipeline status — so the team always knows what’s working
and what’s not.
• Support whitelisting logistics by coordinating ad account access between creators and
the media buying team, ensuring smooth handoffs for paid amplification.
• Maintain and organize the creator and partner database — tracking outreach status,
content delivery, performance metrics, and relationship notes in a clean, accessible
system.
• Proactively identify high-performing creators and flag them for deeper investment — paid
partnerships, ambassador programs, or exclusive collaborations. Bring new ideas for
affiliate growth channels beyond the standard playbook.

Requirements
• Fully remote position (must be available for overlap with US Eastern timezone core
hours).
• Fluent in English (written and verbal) — you’ll be writing outreach messages and
communicating with creators daily.
• 2–4 years of experience in influencer marketing, affiliate management, or creator
partnerships at a DTC brand or influencer/affiliate agency. You need to understand the
difference between seeding and paid placement — and know how to run both.
• Hands-on experience with affiliate platforms like Refersion, Social Snowball, Impact, or
similar tools for link generation, commission tracking, and payout management.
• Familiarity with creator discovery and tracking tools like MightyScout, Modash,
CreatorIQ, or similar — or a proven manual outreach process that gets results at scale.
• Able to manage 300+ active creator and partner relationships simultaneously without
dropping balls — and ready to scale that to 500+. You need a system, not just a
spreadsheet you forget to update.
• Strong written communication skills — your outreach messages need to feel personal
and specific, not copy-pasted templates. Creators can tell the difference.
• Extremely organized and proactive — you flag problems before they escalate and you
don’t wait to be told what to do next.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, lean environment where processes are still being
built. You need to thrive in ambiguity, not freeze.

Accountabilities
What success looks like in this role:
• 300+ new creator and partner outreach messages sent per month, with a target
response rate tracked and improved over time. Volume scales as we grow — the
expectation is high output from day one.
• 100% of seeded creators have working affiliate links within 48 hours of product delivery
confirmation.
• 300+ active creator and partner relationships managed with zero dropped balls —
scaling toward 500+ as DoggySpout ramps.
• Weekly seeding and affiliate performance report delivered to the Partnerships Manager
— covering outreach volume, response rates, content posts, affiliate conversions, and
media partnership progress.
• All creator and affiliate invoices, payouts, and admin processed accurately and on time
— no payment delays, no missing paperwork.
• Creator and partner database maintained in real-time — no outdated statuses, no
missing follow-ups, no relationships falling through the cracks.
• Whitelisting requests coordinated and completed within 24 hours of approval, with zero
missed handoffs to the media buying team.
• Monthly analysis of top-performing creators and partners with recommendations for
deeper investment or scaling — delivered by the 5th of each month.
• Zero seeded products sent without proper tracking and follow-up in place. Every unit we
ship to a creator should have a clear path to content and conversion.

Timeline from first interview to offer is typically 8–10 business days. KPIs and performance
targets will be defined together before your start date so expectations are crystal clear from day
one.

Compensation
$30,000 – $45,000 USD per year
Based on experience and expertise. This role includes a performance bonus structure tied to
affiliate program growth and creator output metrics. We invest in the people who earn it — as
the program scales, so does your scope and compensation
