E-commerce Manager (DFY) — Full-time, Remote
We build and run online stores for clients (investors).
Your job: take a store from zero to launch in 60 days, test fast, scale what works, change what doesn’t.
What you’ll do
• Find products to test (quick research, clear angles).
• Build the store (Shopify pages, basic upsells, trust basics).
• Make simple creatives (images/UGC, short clips, basic edits—speed over perfection).
• Run ads (mainly Meta): launch, test, kill losers, scale winners.
• Iterate fast: if a product’s first data is bad, pause and swap the product (keep the same store).
• Report simply: short Loom updates + a quick call notes what was tested, what’s next.
We focus on what moves ROAS. No extra “nice to have” marketing unless it helps sales.
How we work (60-day sprint)
• Weeks 1–2: Pick 3–5 products, build store v1, create creatives, launch tests.
• Weeks 3–4: Cut weak tests, change creatives/offers, improve product page, try new audiences.
• Weeks 5–8: Scale what works, add new creatives, simple LTV boosts (bundles/upsells), keep documenting.
Expectations
• Do the maximum reasonable work in 60 days.
• If it works ? we scale.
• If it doesn’t ? be transparent about everything tested.
What we provide/allow
• Each client has their own ad account (no overlap issues).
• If you find a winner, you may test the same product for multiple clients (different audiences/ad accounts).
• Tools: Shopify, Meta Ads, basic creative tools (Canva/CapCut), Sheets, Slack, Loom.
What you need
• Real DFY/agency experience: product research + store build + creatives + Meta ads.
• Comfortable killing bad tests fast and swapping products.
• Clear English, short Looms, simple written updates.
• Full-time availability (you may handle multiple clients at once).
Pay & growth
• Base: $150/month per client ($300 per client per 2-month sprint).
• Typical load: 15–20 clients ? e.g. $300 × 20 = $6,000 per 2 months (base).
• Bonuses:
o $100 for each usable video case-study interview you help create.
o Performance bonuses (examples): $200 if a store hits $10k in 30 days; $500 if $50k in 90 days.
o Profit share: 5–10% of client profits (usual baseline 10% when applicable).
o Renewal/DWY assist bonus if you actively help the salesperson secure a renewal (e.g., you record a call advising the client to renew).
• Career path: manage more clients, earn more base + bonuses; grow into DFY/Delivery Manager with extra fixed pay.
How we measure success
• Speed to first launch (goal: within 7–10 days of brief).
• Number of tests/iterations each week.
• Smart decisions (pause early losers, double down on winners).
• Improving unit economics (CPM/CTR/CVR/CPA/ROAS).
• Happy, informed clients (clear Looms + on-time check-ins).
