Driver & Carrier Recruitment Specialist — U.S. Transportation & Logistics
VII Energy Group is seeking a full-time Driver & Carrier Recruitment Specialist to support the growth of our U.S. transportation and logistics operations.
This is an outbound calling and recruiting position. Your primary responsibility will be identifying, contacting, qualifying, and developing relationships with owner-operators, carriers, and drivers interested in working with VII Energy Group.
This is not a passive lead-generation role. We are looking for someone comfortable spending a significant portion of the workday on the phone and consistently working a structured prospect list.
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM U.S. Eastern Time. Applicants must be able to consistently work U.S. business hours.
Responsibilities include:
Make a minimum of 100 outbound calls per day, with a target of 120+ calls per day, while maintaining required follow-up, documentation, call quality, and conversion standards.
Contact prospective owner-operators, drivers, and carriers using VII Energy Group's provided scripts and processes.
Explain our services clearly and professionally and identify qualified prospects.
Follow up with interested prospects and move them through the recruitment pipeline.
Accurately document every call, outcome, follow-up date, and prospect status in company systems.
Maintain organized prospect records and provide visibility into daily recruiting activity.
Escalate qualified/ready prospects for approval and onboarding.
Participate in mandatory Monday and Thursday team meetings, coaching, call reviews, and ongoing training.
Work within Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Outlook, Microsoft Lists, and other company systems used for recruiting, documentation, communication, and workflow management.
Follow company procedures regarding data security, confidentiality, documentation, compliance, and system access.
Meet established activity, conversion, documentation, and performance standards.
Shipper & Customer Development
As VII Energy Group expands its approved transportation services, this position will also support shipper and customer development by identifying prospective accounts, conducting outbound outreach, obtaining vendor/carrier onboarding requirements, assisting with approval packets, maintaining follow-up pipelines, and helping convert approved accounts into active shipping customers.
Requirements:
Applicants should have:
Prior U.S. transportation/trucking/logistics industry knowledge or experience.
Strong outbound calling, carrier recruitment, driver recruitment, telesales, or comparable phone-based experience.
Excellent spoken and written English.
Confidence communicating professionally with U.S.-based drivers, owner-operators, and carriers.
Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, including Outlook and basic SharePoint/document-management workflows.
Strong computer and data-entry skills.
Ability to learn and follow structured SOPs, scripts, workflows, and compliance procedures.
Strong follow-up and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently while remaining accountable to measurable performance standards.
Reliable computer, high-speed internet connection, and professional-quality headset.
Reliable availability for the complete U.S. Eastern Time work schedule.
Willingness to participate in an intensive two-week training and qualification program.
Willingness to provide a professional profile/headshot photograph for VII Energy Group's internal employee directory and company systems upon hire.
Training & Compensation
This is a full-time, paid position. New hires will complete VII Energy Group's structured two-week intensive onboarding and role-training program while beginning supervised production activities.
Training includes company orientation, transportation fundamentals, driver/carrier recruitment, scripts, Microsoft 365 and SharePoint systems, documentation standards, compliance, security, call practice, live calling, conversion procedures, and performance coaching.
Training is not observational only. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate competency through exercises, assessments, call practice, supervised live work, and performance evaluation.
The position includes a base hourly wage plus performance-based compensation.
In addition to base pay, the employee will earn an established bonus or commission for qualifying carrier/driver conversions that successfully activate and result in a booked load, according to VII Energy Group's compensation structure.
Performance Expectations
We are building a performance-driven operation. Candidates should be comfortable with measurable standards including outbound call volume, quality of documentation, follow-up completion, qualified prospects, successful activations, and conversions.
Performance will be measured through the pipeline:
Outbound Calls ? Contacts ? Qualified Prospects ? Follow-Ups ? Signed/Approved Carriers ? Activated Carriers ? First Load Booked
Call volume alone does not constitute successful performance. Employees are expected to demonstrate both consistent activity and measurable conversion results while maintaining accurate records and professional communication.
***Wage/Salary***
$5.00 USD/hour + performance incentives
Under Training & Compensation:
Compensation: $5.00 USD/hour base pay plus performance-based incentives. Employees earn an additional $15 for each personally recruited driver/carrier who successfully completes onboarding and reaches their first qualifying booked load.
