Tekla Structures BIM Draftsman (Remote)
About Us:
New Steel Solutions Ltd is a growing structural steel company based in the United Kingdom. We specialise in structural steelwork for residential and commercial construction projects, delivering high-quality fabrication drawings and 3D BIM models for our workshop and installation teams.

We are looking for an exceptional Tekla Structures Draftsman to become a long-ter ---------- mber of our team.

The Role:
You will be responsible for producing accurate 3D BIM models, fabrication drawings, GA drawings, NC files and material schedules from structural engineer and architectural drawings.

You will work directly with our estimating, project management and production teams to ensure every project is delivered accurately and on time.

This is a full-time remote position:
Essential Skills

You MUST have:
Expert knowledge of Tekla Structures (3D BIM)
Proven experience detailing structural steelwork
Ability to produce fabrication drawings independently
Strong understanding of connection detailing
Experience creating GA drawings, assemblies, single part drawings and NC files
Ability to interpret engineering and architectural drawings
Excellent spoken and written English
High-speed, reliable internet connection

Bonus Skills
These are not essential but would be an advantage:
Knowledge of CE Marking requirements
Experience with BIM workflows
AutoCAD experience
Understanding of fabrication and installation processes
