We are hiring a calm, dependable customer-service professional to be the front line for a growing U.S.-based home-services business. You will answer and place calls, keep customers informed, coordinate schedules with technicians, and make every interaction feel clear and cared for.
This is not a back-office data-entry role. Clear, understandable spoken English, strong listening, and sound customer judgment are the priority.
WHAT YOU’LL OWN
• Answer inbound customer calls, identify the customer’s need, capture accurate details, and guide the conversation to a clear next step.
• Make outbound calls and messages to confirm appointments, update customers on technician arrival windows, reschedule when needed, and close the loop on open issues.
• Coordinate daily schedules with technicians and the office; recognize urgent situations, communicate changes quickly, and protect the customer experience.
• Keep job notes, customer records, appointment details, and follow-up commitments accurate in our dispatch/CRM tools.
• Handle upset or anxious customers with empathy, ownership, and practical judgment—without making promises you cannot keep.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SETUP
• At least 12 months of demonstrated voice-based customer service, dispatch, appointment-setting, scheduling, or coordination work supporting U.S. or other international customers.
• Fluent, clear, and understandable spoken English. We care about customer comprehension, active listening, tone, and judgment—not a particular accent.
• Strong written English and careful attention to names, dates, addresses, service details, and commitments.
• Ability to work U.S. Eastern Time business hours. This full-time role is scheduled for 50 hours per week; reliable availability during our core Eastern Time coverage is essential. You must also have reliable high-speed internet, a quiet workspace, and a professional headset.
• Confidence using web-based software, calendars, CRMs, phone systems, and multi-channel customer communication.
Home-services, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or similar field-service experience is preferred, but a proven record in a fast-moving customer coordination role matters most.
COMPENSATION & GROWTH
Competitive compensation will reflect demonstrated relevant experience, communication skill, reliability, and availability. Please include your desired monthly compensation and earliest available start date.
This is a long-term role for someone who wants to become deeply trusted in customer operations—not simply answer calls. Strong performers can grow into senior dispatch, customer-success, quality, and operations-coordination responsibilities.
HOW TO APPLY — STEP 1 IS AN AUDIO LINK
We use this first step because the role is customer-facing by phone. Begin your written application with this exact first line: “I can cover U.S. Eastern Time.” Use this subject line: “DISPATCH COORDINATOR — [your name].” Use exactly six Apply Points. Then complete the audio step below. Please do not send a generic “interested” message.
Record a 60–90 second audio response:
Scenario: A customer calls because their technician is running late. They are frustrated and need an update. Leave the phone response you would give. Introduce yourself, acknowledge the concern, give a clear update without making promises you cannot keep, explain the next step, and close professionally.
Upload the recording as an MP3 or M4A to your own Google Drive. Set the individual file to “Anyone with the link” ? “Viewer,” then send the file link in your OnlineJobs.ph application. Please state your name and OnlineJobs.ph profile name at the beginning. Do not send a folder link or a link that requires access.
Also include 2–4 sentences about your most relevant prior role: the customers you supported, approximate daily call/message volume, and the scheduling or customer issues you handled.
Your response may be reviewed using a consistent, job-related communication rubric with AI assistance and by our hiring team; people make all hiring decisions. Candidates who complete Step 1 may be invited to a short written customer scenario and live role-play.
