ROLE OVERVIEW
The Director of Sales & Leadership Development is a senior leadership role responsible for building scalable sales performance through elite training, closing excellence, and leadership development.
This role exists to develop people, systems, and results—not to micromanage daily activity.
CORE OBJECTIVES
• Improve close rates, conversion, and revenue per lead
• Build a structured sales training and certification system
• Develop internal leadership bench strength
• Standardize sales execution and performance expectations
• Create predictable, repeatable sales outcomes
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales Enablement & Closing Performance
• Own sales scripts, objection-handling frameworks, and closing methodologies
• Lead advanced call reviews focused on psychology, structure, and execution
• Analyze sales metrics and identify improvement opportunities
• Build and maintain a comprehensive sales playbook
Training & Development
• Design and deliver structured sales training programs
• Certify sales reps based on skill mastery
• Measure training effectiveness through performance improvement
• Maintain training documentation and LMS content
Leadership Development
• Identify high-potential sales tea
• Develop Team Leads and Managers through coaching and training
• Train leaders on accountability, performance management, and forecasting
• Prepare leaders to operate independently
Strategic Leadership
• Set and enforce sales performance standards
• Recommend hiring, promotion, demotion, and termination decisions
• Partner with executive leadership on sales strategy and growth initiatives
• Reduce leadership bottlenecks by developing capable managers
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
• 3–5 years of call center or high-volume inbound sales experience
• Experience training and coaching sales teams
• Experience mentoring Team Leads or senior sales reps
• Demonstrated ability to improve sales performance metrics
• Hands-on experience with closing and objection handling

COMPENSATION
Base Salary: $16–$21 USD per hour
