About Us: Talent Staffing and Recruiting is a US-based direct-hire staffing firm focused on healthcare/allied-health placements and expanding into new verticals.
The Role: We're hiring a Director of Recruiting to own our entire delivery organization. You'll report directly to the founder and be accountable for one number: jobs filled. You inherit a live board of open US roles and a small existing delivery team (including a recruiting manager). You'll set the fill strategy, build the standards and cadence, coach and grow the team — and because we're lean, you'll still personally recruit on our hardest, highest-value searches. As we expand into new verticals, you'll have real ownership over how the delivery org scales, including building out your own team.
Responsibilities
Own the company-wide open-req board: triage every US job, set a written fill strategy per req, and escalate or kill stalled searches honestly.
Lead the delivery org — the recruiting manager and delivery recruiters report to you; run daily cadence, set submittal quality standards, and manage performance.
Personally recruit full-cycle on priority searches: source, screen (live phone/video), prep, and submit.
Build the machine: playbooks, screening gates, KPIs, and a capacity plan; recruit and onboard recruiters as volume grows.
Report weekly to the founder with real numbers: pipeline, submittals, interviews, offers, fills.
What You'll Need
6+ years in US staffing/recruiting delivery, including 3+ years leading delivery teams measured on submittals and placements (agency/staffing-firm side, or BPO/RPO delivery centers serving US staffing firms — in-house corporate TA doesn't translate to this role). Experience leading team leads or managers is a strong plus.
US healthcare staffing experience strongly preferred; allied health/imaging is a major plus.
Placements you've personally closed that you can speak to in detail (role, US state, salary, and how you filled them) — this comes up in the interview.
At least one 24+ month tenure at a single staffing employer.
Excellent spoken English — you'll be screening US healthcare professionals and coaching your team.
Comfortable with ATS platforms, modern sourcing, and building (not just reading) a KPI dashboard.
A reliable home setup for a long-term night shift: quiet room, headset, stable internet, backup power/data.
This role probably isn't the right fit if: your leadership background is in-house corporate TA/HR rather than agency delivery, you've led sourcing teams but haven't owned submittals-to-fill accountability, you're not able to speak to specific placements you personally closed, you're a pure people-manager who no longer recruits, or the fixed night shift doesn't work long-term for you.
Why This Role: You'll run the whole delivery organization with a direct line to the founder and real authority over strategy and team build-out. Compensation includes a competitive director-level base plus a bonus tied directly to what your org produces. Fully remote, long-term role with room to grow as we expand.
To Apply, Please Answer:
Tell us about the largest delivery organization you've led: company, your title, headcount and layers (did team leads/managers report to you?), what it was measured on, and typical monthly submittals/placements.
Name one placement you personally closed in the last 2 years — job title, US state, salary, and how you sourced the candidate. (We'll dig into specifics on the call.)
What's your longest tenure at a single staffing employer — company and number of months?
Scenario: you inherit ~20 open US direct-hire jobs (mostly healthcare/allied), a recruiting manager, and 2 recruiters, with a ~20% fill rate. In 5–8 sentences, walk us through your first 30 days and the number you'd commit to for day 90.
Can you commit to a fixed US night shift (~9 PM–6 AM PHT), Mon–Fri, long-term? What's your home setup (internet speed, headset, quiet room, backup power)?
Current/most recent monthly pay, earliest start date, and a short (30–60 sec) voice intro — introduce yourself as if opening a screening call with a US radiologic technologist.
