JOB OVERVIEW

We're a multi-brand e-commerce team looking for a **video editor to own our Facebook ad creative long-term.**

**English required.**

### What the job actually is

We do direct-response performance marketing.

You'll be editing ads that have to **stop the scroll, hold attention and drive action**. We care about how the creative performs, not just whether the edit looks polished.

Pacing, cuts, sound, timing and hook construction matter a lot here. If you only want to receive clips, follow instructions and export videos without thinking about the message behind the ad, this probably isn't the right role.

A large share of our creative is AI-generated. You should already be comfortable working with formats such as:

* AI animation
* AI UGC / talking-head “yapper” style videos
* AI music-driven animation
* Direct-response UGC
* Short-form product ads

These formats evolve quickly, so we're looking for someone who actively follows what's working and keeps improving their creative judgment.

### You're a fit if you:

* Have real experience editing direct-response e-commerce ads
* Understand hooks, pacing, retention and sound design
* Are comfortable working with AI-generated video content
* Follow current Facebook ad formats and creative trends
* Want to understand **who the ad is for, what problem it solves and why the angle should work**
* Can follow a brief but also think for yourself
* Care about performance and want feedback on how your ads actually did
* Take the work seriously and want to build your skill set long-term

We're not looking for someone who needs every cut explained to them.

We are looking for someone who can develop stronger judgment over time and become increasingly valuable to the creative team.
