Afina is an 8-figure DTC wellness brand and the #1 selling filtered showerhead brand on Amazon.

Role Overview
We are hiring an Online PR Manager to grow Afina’s visibility across digital media, beauty, wellness, lifestyle, and consumer product publications. This person will own online PR strategy, manage media outreach, secure earned coverage, build relationships with editors and journalists, and help position Afina as a leading brand in shower filtration, skin wellness, and hair care.

Responsibilities
• Build and execute Afina’s online PR strategy
• Identify and pitch story angles around beauty, skincare, hair wellness, filtered water, self-care, and consumer health
• Secure earned media placements in beauty, wellness, lifestyle, home, ecommerce, and consumer product publications
• Build and maintain relationships with journalists, editors, freelance writers, producers, and creators
• Write press releases, media pitches, founder story briefs, and product launch announcements

Requirements
• 3+ years of experience in digital PR, consumer brand PR, public relations, or communications
• Proven record of securing coverage in online media
• Strong relationships with contacts in beauty, wellness, lifestyle, home, or consumer product media
• Excellent written communication and pitching skills

Preferred
• Experience working with beauty, personal care, wellness, home, or DTC brands
• Experience with product gifting / seeding
• Familiarity with PR and media tools
• Understanding of how PR can drive brand awareness, trust, SEO value, and conversion support
