# Digital Marketing Specialist – Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, LinkedIn Ads and SEO
**Full-time remote role | Philippines-based | AUD $1,500 per month**
## About 3D Walkabout
3D Walkabout is an Australian technology and digital services company providing 3D scanning, BIM/CAD modelling, architectural visualisation, animation and extended reality solutions.
We operate nationally across Australia and work with clients ranging from architects and construction companies to major national brands. We are also launching new SaaS platforms within VR training and 3D scanning data management.
We are looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Specialist based in the Philippines to manage and improve our paid advertising campaigns and support our organic search strategy.
This is a hands-on role. The successful candidate will work under our Head of Marketing and Growth and take day-to-day responsibility for running and optimising our campaigns.
## Primary responsibilities
### Paid advertising
* Manage Google Ads campaigns across Search, Display and remarketing.
* Manage Microsoft Advertising campaigns.
* Manage LinkedIn advertising campaigns, including lead-generation and retargeting campaigns.
* Monitor search terms, keywords, negative keywords, audiences, bids and budgets.
* Test campaign structures, advertisements, landing pages and targeting.
* Identify wasted expenditure and opportunities to improve campaign performance.
* Manage conversion tracking and troubleshoot tracking issues.
* Allocate advertising budgets based on performance and commercial priorities.
* Produce clear weekly and monthly reports.
* Focus on qualified enquiries and sales opportunities rather than simply generating clicks or low-quality leads.
Our advertising accounts and campaigns are already established. The initial priority will be understanding the existing setup, reviewing historical performance and making measured improvements without unnecessarily disrupting campaigns that are working.
### SEO and organic search
* Conduct keyword and competitor research.
* Improve on-page SEO across our websites and landing pages.
* Prepare content briefs based on genuine search opportunities.
* Review technical SEO issues and work with our web team to address them.
* Improve internal linking, metadata, page structure and website content.
* Monitor rankings, organic traffic, enquiries and conversions.
* Identify appropriate and reputable backlink opportunities.
* Support local and national search visibility across Australia.
## Required experience
The strongest requirement for this position is practical experience managing paid advertising campaigns.
Applicants should have:
* At least three years of hands-on Google Ads experience.
* Experience managing meaningful advertising budgets.
* Strong Google Search campaign experience.
* Experience with Microsoft Advertising.
* Experience with LinkedIn Campaign Manager.
* A good understanding of conversion tracking and attribution.
* Experience using Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager.
* The ability to analyse campaign data and make commercially sensible decisions.
* Strong written English and clear communication skills.
* Good organisation and attention to detail.
* The ability to work independently and take responsibility for results.
Please do not apply if your experience is mainly theoretical, based only on completing courses, or limited to assisting another campaign manager.
Preferred skills
The following would be valuable but are not all essential:
Technical and on-page SEO experience.
Experience with HubSpot CRM and HubSpot marketing tools.
Looker Studio reporting and dashboard creation.
Landing-page optimisation and conversion-rate optimisation.
WordPress experience.
Basic copywriting for advertisements and landing pages.
Experience briefing designers or preparing simple campaign creative.
B2B lead-generation experience.
Experience marketing professional services, technology or SaaS products.
Familiarity with Apollo or similar outreach platforms.
Understanding of account-based marketing and enterprise audience targeting.
Relevant Google Ads or Microsoft Advertising certifications.
AI search optimisation
We are also interested in candidates who understand how search is changing through ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Microsoft Copilot and other AI-powered platforms.
Experience in any of the following would be an advantage:
Generative engine optimisation or AI search optimisation.
Structuring website content so it can be understood and referenced by AI search tools.
Schema markup and structured data.
Entity-based SEO and building brand authority.
Monitoring visibility across traditional and AI-generated search results.
Using AI tools responsibly for research, analysis, reporting and content development.
We do not expect applicants to be experts in an area that is still developing. However, we want someone who actively follows these changes and can help us test practical ways of improving our visibility.
How the role will work
You will report to our Head of Marketing and Growth and work with our existing marketing, sales and website teams.
The Head of Marketing and Growth will determine the overall strategy, priorities and budgets. You will be responsible for day-to-day campaign management, optimisation, reporting and SEO implementation.
Some overlap with Australian business hours will be required. We are based in Western Australia, which is in the same time zone as the Philippines for part of the year and one hour behind during the remainder.
This is intended to be a stable, long-term position with an established and growing Australian company.
Performance measures
Your performance will be assessed using commercial outcomes, including:
Qualified enquiries generated.
Cost per qualified enquiry.
Conversion from enquiry to quotation and sale.
Revenue and gross profit attributed to paid campaigns.
Return on advertising expenditure.
Reduction in wasted advertising spend.
Organic search visibility and qualified organic enquiries.
Accuracy and clarity of campaign reporting.
Clicks, impressions and website traffic are useful supporting metrics, but they are not the primary measure of success.
Please include the following in your application:
A brief summary of your experience with Google Ads, Microsoft Ads and LinkedIn Ads.
The approximate monthly advertising budgets you have personally managed.
Two examples of campaigns you improved, including the problem, what you changed and the measurable result.
An example of a campaign that did not perform as expected and how you responded.
Details of your SEO experience.
Any experience you have with AI search optimisation, AEO or generative engine optimisation.
The analytics, tracking, CRM and reporting platforms you have used.
A short video introduction explaining why you believe you are suited to the role.
