We are a boutique HR & Immigration consulting firm in British Columbia, Canada, building a strong professional community and brand presence. We’re seeking a long-term Digital Marketing Coordinator to own our content strategy, social media, blog content, and digital presence.
This is not influencer marketing. This is professional authority-building. We deal with complex and serious work, but our tone is energetic, human, and approachable — writing tone is critical.
What you’ll own:
• Shape content strategy across
• Draft 2–3 LinkedIn posts and 1–2
• Draft 1–2 blog articles per month, format and publish them, and repurpose them into social content
• Maintain a content calendar
• Manage rotating post frameworks for Google Business Profile and Bing Places
• Maintain and grow our profiles across BBB, ThreeBestRated,
• Conduct digital presence audits and suggest improvements
• Run and optimize Google Ads campaigns (approved framework already in place — you’ll take it from trial to results)
• Liaise directly with our web development team on site updates and landing pages
• Design simple on-brand visuals in Canva
• Track and report on follower growth and campaign performance
• Protect and mirror our brand voice and tone
• Bring proactive ideas weekly
What we’re looking for:
• Strong English writing skills, with experience writing LinkedIn content and drafting blogs
• 2+ years marketing/content experience, ideally B2B or professional services
• Comfortable owning strategy within clear brand guardrails, with light final-approval review
• Working knowledge of Google Ads (campaign structure, targeting, reporting)
• Organized, self-directed, and detail-oriented
• Long-term mindset — this is an ongoing role, not project-based
• Able to learn and mirror a founder-driven voice
• Experience liaising with technical/dev teams a plus
• Bonus: experience with regulated industries — legal, immigration, HR, financial services
Hours: 15 hours/week, flexible, remote
Pay: $8–12 USD/hour, based on experience
Type: Long-term, ongoing contract, with room to grow
