We are looking for a strategic Search & AI Visibility Manager to lead our transition from traditional SEO to the era of Generative Engine Optimization (GEO). Your mission is two-fold: drive high-quality backlinks that build our domain authority and ensure our brand is the "top-of-mind" recommendation for LLMs like ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity.
You aren't just chasing rankings; you are managing how the world—and the AI models that summarize it—perceives and cites our brand.
Key Responsibilities
1. High-Authority Backlink Strategy (Off-Page SEO)
Execute personalized outreach campaigns to secure placements on Tier-1 industry publications, news sites, and niche blogs.
Move beyond "spammy" tactics by building genuine relationships with editors and digital creators.
Conduct competitor gap analysis to identify missed opportunities for brand mentions and citations.
2. AI & LLM Optimization (GEO)
Optimize our digital footprint to ensure the brand is accurately "understood" and cited by AI models.
Monitor brand sentiment and "share of model" within AI-generated responses.
Work with the technical team to implement advanced
3. Content & Brand Integrity
Ensure all off-site content aligns with our brand voice and E-E-A-T (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness) standards.
Audit "source-of-truth" platforms (Wikipedia, industry directories, Crunchbase) to ensure consistent data feeding into AI training sets.

The Strategic Connector: You know how to pitch a story that editors actually want to publish.
The AI Enthusiast: You aren't just using AI to write; you understand how LLMs crawl, process, and retrieve information.
Data-Driven: You are comfortable using tools like Ahrefs, Semrush, and Perplexity to track visibility and growth.
Technically Minded: You understand the basics of site architecture and how it influences crawler behavior.
Required Qualifications
3+ years in SEO, Digital PR, or Growth Marketing.
Proven track record of securing high-quality backlinks (be prepared to share examples).
Deep understanding of the evolving search landscape (SGE, Perplexity, etc.).
Exceptional writing and communication skills.
