About Us United Sports and Social is made up of four brands: Austin Sports and Social, San Antonio Sports and Social, LoneStar Sports and Social, and Minnesota Sports and Social. We are a 20-year-old recreation, sports, and social club with over 50,000 members. Our brand focuses on short-form video content that engages and converts. We need a creative content creator to produce reels and short videos across social platforms and manage posting with Metricool.
Role Overview: Create, edit, and publish short-form video content (15–90s) optimized for
Key Responsibilities
• Conceptualize and produce 10–20 short videos per week (formats: Reels, Shorts, TikToks).
• edit vertical video: storytelling, motion graphics, captions, sound design.
• Optimize creative for platform-specific best practices (length, hooks, captions, hashtags).
• Schedule and publish posts using Metricool; maintain content calendar.
• Monitor performance, report weekly/monthly metrics, and iterate based on analytics.
• Repurpose content across platforms while tailoring messaging and format.
• Maintain brand guidelines, tone, and visual consistency.
• Coordinate with designers, copywriters, and social media manager as needed.
Required Skills & Experience
• 2+ years creating short-form social video for brands or creators.
• Strong video editing skills (e.g., CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, InShot).
• Proven experience with TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and
• Familiarity and hands-on experience using Metricool (scheduling, analytics).
• Good sense of pacing, hooks, and platform trends; ability to create viral-ready content.
• Basic motion graphics and captioning skills.
• Strong time management and ability to hit deadlines.
• Portfolio or links to 6–10 recent short-form videos.
Nice-to-Have
• Experience with UGC-style videos and influencer collaborations.
• Knowledge of SEO for YouTube and hashtag strategies for TikTok/IG.
