Job Summary
The Transaction Auditor is responsible for accurately processing customer purchase transactions across all market locations. This role involves reviewing video footage to verify items taken, encoding items into the system with correct quantities, and ensuring that all daily transactions are completed with precision and consistency.
This position requires strong attention to detail, high levels of focus, patience for repetitive tasks, and a strong sense of accountability.
Key Responsibilities
- Review video footage to verify customer purchases.
- Identify items taken and accurately encode them into the system, including correct quantities.
- Process transactions efficiently, averaging 1 to 2 minutes per transaction.
- Ensure all transactions for the assigned shift or day are completed.

- Escalate and report irregularities, suspicious activity, or system issues promptly.
- Maintain high accuracy levels, especially when distinguishing between similar-looking items.
- Ensure consistent attendance and availability during assigned working hours.
- Follow established procedures and maintain confidentiality of footage and transaction data.
Qualifications
- High attention to detail and strong visual accuracy.
- Ability to maintain focus for extended periods.
- Patient and comfortable performing repetitive tasks throughout the day.
- Strong sense of responsibility and commitment to completing daily workload.
- Ability to detect inconsistencies and exercise sound judgment.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to quickly learn transaction systems.
- Strong integrity and reliability.
- Good written and verbal communication skills for reporting issues.
- Must demonstrate consistent attendance and punctuality.
Preferred Attributes
- Experience in transaction processing, auditing, or retail operations is an advantage.
- Experience reviewing CCTV footage is a plus.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
