JOB OVERVIEW

Who We Are

We are a focused development team. We build and improve a set of internal and customer-facing applications. This includes web admin tools, signage systems, and smart TV applications. Our work includes building new products and improving tools that are already in use.

This is not a short-term or single-project contract. We have consistent, ongoing work. We are looking for someone who can grow into a long-term role with the team.

The Role

We are looking for someone with strong design skills, solid web fundamentals, and real skill using AI tools to turn requirements into finished, working products. This role is not about being an expert in one specific framework. It is more about your ability to design good interfaces, understand how the web works, and use AI effectively to build and ship work.

You will design and build dashboards, admin interfaces, and marketing-style websites. You should understand usability well enough to make interfaces that are easy to use, not just functional. You should know enough HTML, CSS, and modern tools (such as Tailwind) to build real interfaces and to communicate clearly with AI coding tools about what you want to build.

The most important skill for this role is AI-assisted development. This means:

- You are given a PRD or BRD (a document that describes what needs to be built, including requirements).
- You use AI tools to turn those requirements into a finished, working product.
- You guide, review, and correct the AI's output. You do not simply accept what the AI gives you.
- You use good judgment about assumptions, constraints, APIs, and how to implement things along the way.

You should also be strong at critical thinking and QA. This means comparing finished work against the original requirements, catching missing pieces, and noticing when AI-generated output has gone off track.

This role is a contract-to-hire position. This means it starts as a contract, with a clear path to becoming a full-time position for the right person.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and build dashboards, admin interfaces, and marketing-style websites.
- Apply strong visual design skills: attention to detail, alignment, spacing, and consistency.
- Design interfaces that are easy to use and easy to understand.
- Take a PRD or BRD and use AI tools to turn requirements into a finished, working product.
- Guide, review, and correct AI-generated output rather than accepting it as-is.
- Use good judgment about assumptions, constraints, APIs, and implementation choices.
- Compare finished work against requirements and catch anything missing or incorrect.
- Check your own work carefully before it is considered done (QA).
- Review other developers' work for quality and correctness.
- Improve and update existing applications that are already live.
- Work with other developers to plan and deliver features together.
- Join a short daily stand-up meeting, with some overlap during U.S. working hours.

What You Bring

Design (Main Focus)
- Strong graphic and visual design skills.
- Strong attention to detail: alignment, spacing, and consistency.
- Ability to design clear and easy-to-use dashboards and web interfaces.
- Understanding of usability and how to organize information clearly.

Web Fundamentals
- Experience building marketing-style websites and web admin interfaces.
- Working knowledge of HTML and CSS.
- Familiarity with tools and frameworks such as Tailwind.
Enough technical vocabulary to communicate clearly with AI coding tools.

AI-Assisted Development (Required)
- Real experience using AI coding tools (for example: Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) to turn requirements into a finished, - working product.
- Ability to guide, review, and correct AI-generated output rather than simply accepting it.
- Good judgment about assumptions, constraints, APIs, and implementation choices when working with AI.

Critical Thinking and QA
- Ability to compare completed work against requirements.
- Strong habit of checking your own work carefully (self-QA).
- Ability to notice missing requirements and cases where the AI's output is wrong or incomplete.

General

- Experience using Git with a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Good English communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Open to using AI tools as part of your normal development process (sometimes called "vibe coding").

Why Join Us

Contract-to-hire. A clear path to a long-term, full-time position.
Steady, ongoing work. No uncertainty about whether there is enough work.
You will own real features that are used by real customers.
Learn and grow your skills in design, web development, and AI-assisted execution.
Modern workflow using AI tools and current best practices.
Small, supportive team where your work makes a direct difference.
