Dental Billing Specialist (USD $5–$8/hr)

We are a modern dental practice based in Las Vegas, Nevada, and we’re looking for an experienced Dental Billing Specialist to join our team and help us deliver an exceptional patient experience.

This is a long-term, full-time remote position. We’re looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and highly familiar with U.S. billing process—especially candidates who have worked with outsourced dental billing/eligibility companies.

Ideal Background (Highly Preferred)
-Experience working for or with companies such as REACH, eAssist, or other outsourced dental billing/insurance verification teams
-Strong understanding of U.S. dental insurance workflows and real-world plan nuances

Responsibilities & Requirements:
-Minimum 2 years of experience in Dental Billing and claims tracing/resubmissions (U.S. dental insurance)
-Must have experience using Open Dental
-Confident navigating dental insurance portals/websites for claims and pre-auth status
-Confident resubmitting claims/pre-authorization via online portals/websites
-Confident identifying Teeth #’s and able to label xrays (quadrants, pre-op, post-op xray)
-Able to call insurance companies for claims status after multiple resubmissions
-Able to call insurance companies for appeal status
-Understands the difference between clearing house and online resubmissions
-Can enter claim payments after payment clearance
-Can enter pre-authorization in Open Dental
-Able to clearly document narratives and claims status
-Able to assistant with miscellaneous Billing Task as needed

Work Requirements:
-Reliable internet connection
-Quiet, professional home workspace
-Availability during Pacific Standard Time (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
-Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written)
-Comfortable working inside Open Dental daily
-Must be able to receive payments via Payoneer
