Position Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Data Entry & Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. This role supports our bookkeeping department with daily financial data entry, vendor bill processing, payroll prep, document organization, and communication with both internal tea
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter and categorize transactions in QuickBooks Online
- Process Accounts Payable (enter bills, route for approval, schedule payments through
- Support payroll processes in Gusto (review timesheets, verify changes, ensure readiness for processing)
- Maintain organized digital filing systems and supporting documentation
- Update and manage spreadsheets in Excel/Google Sheets
- Communicate within Slack for daily updates, questions, and task coordination
- Follow internal SOPs and maintain confidentiality
- Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and consistency across all assigned work
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years experience in bookkeeping, AP, data-entry accounting, or similar support role
- Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online
- Experience with
- Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets (sorting, filtering, formatting, basic formulas)
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize deadlines and communicate proactively
- Comfortable confirming assumptions before proceeding to ensure accuracy
