JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Data Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and data infrastructure that support business intelligence, analytics, and machine learning initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines.
Build and optimise data architectures, databases, and data warehouses.
Integrate data from various sources and ensure data quality, reliability, and security.
Collaborate with Data Scientists, Analysts, and Business Teams to support data-driven decision-making.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve the performance of data systems.
Implement data governance, documentation, and best practices.
Support cloud-based data platforms and infrastructure.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
Experience with ETL/ELT tools and data integration frameworks.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Experience with data warehousing solutions and big data technologies.
Knowledge of database design, data modelling, and data governance principles.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
