About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Damage & Claims Administrator to join our team. This role is critical in managing the end-to-end damage, panel, and paint repair processes for our fleet. You will coordinate vehicle damage assessments, liaise with panel repairers, process insurance claims, and ensure accurate record-keeping of repair and claim activity.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate vehicle damage inspections and repair assessments across branches
- Liaise with Damage Manager, paint shops, and suppliers to obtain quotes, order parts and manage repair schedules
- Assess damage reports and allocate liability (internal, external or third-party)
- Submit and follow up insurance claims and manage correspondence with insurers and customers
- Maintain up-to-date records of all damage, quotes, repair approvals and job completions
- Communicate repair timelines and claim updates to relevant internal departments
- Reconcile invoices against quotes and ensure cost recovery processes are followed
- Support fleet and branch teams with damage-related enquiries and guidance
- Issue Damage letters to customers and assist in debt recovery and payment plan arrangement processes.
- General administration duties including data entry, reporting and document control
About You
- Previous experience in damage/claims administration within automotive, panel & paint, insurance or fleet sectors
- Strong knowledge of vehicle damage assessment and panel repair quoting processes
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise confidently with suppliers, assessors, and internal teams
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Competent with Microsoft Office Suite and fleet or damage management systems
- Knowledge of insurance claim processes and terminology highly regarded
- English speaking and confident making phone calls
