JOB OVERVIEW

I run a wedding film company in California. I edit the films myself. I need
one colorist to take over the color grade.

THE WORK

Each film is a 7-10 minute wedding highlight, already edited and locked. You
are not editing. You are grading only.

I have a node structure I already use and like. Your job is to work inside it
and match every shot to it. I am not looking for someone to bring their own
look or build a new one.

Delivery is 1 week from the day I send the project. One round of revisions
after my notes, turned around in 2 days.

FILES

The first film will be sent WITHOUT proxies. It is roughly 650GB. You need
internet that can actually download that, and the drive space to hold it.

Every film after the first will be sent with proxies, so the transfers will
be much smaller.

WHO I WANT

You must already be experienced with DaVinci Resolve. I do not have time to
teach the software. You should be comfortable with node trees, shot matching,
power windows, and grading log footage. No lazy copy pasting clips and not adjusting them. I've had too many times a mask was in the wrong position or colors/exposure were off because the editor didn't take the time to refine each shot.

TO APPLY

Send a link to color work you did yourself, and tell me what you did on it.
Also tell me your download speed and how much free drive space you have.
