JOB OVERVIEW

Summary

Full Time DTC Video Editor (AI + Direct Response)

We are hiring a full time Direct Response Video Editor to create high performing Meta and TikTok ads for US eCommerce brands.

This is not a traditional video editing role. We are looking for someone who understands performance marketing and can turn creative scripts into ads that generate clicks, purchases, and revenue.

Your primary responsibility will be taking a Creative Strategist's script and producing multiple high converting ads as quickly as possible. Speed, iteration, and understanding why ads perform are far more important than cinematic editing.

What You'll Do

* Edit direct response video ads for Meta and TikTok.
* Transform scripts into engaging, high converting ads.
* Source and edit AI generated UGC, AI B roll, stock footage, and creator content.
* Create AI animated videos and integrate them seamlessly into ad creatives.
* Add captions, motion graphics, visual effects, and pacing that maximize retention.
* Produce multiple creative variations for rapid testing and iteration.
* Work closely with Creative Strategists to launch winning concepts as fast as possible.

What We're Looking For

* Strong understanding of direct response advertising.
* Experience editing UGC style ads for Meta and TikTok.
* Excellent understanding of hooks, retention, pacing, storytelling, and conversion focused editing.
* Experience with AI video workflows including:

* AI Animated Videos
* AI UGC Generation
* AI B Roll Generation
* AI Voiceovers
* Comfortable using tools such as Runway, Veo, Kling, HeyGen, Arcads, Creatify, TopView, or similar AI platforms.
* Strong motion graphics and captioning skills.
* Ability to work quickly without sacrificing performance.

Performance Expectations

This is a high output role.

We expect editors to produce approximately:

Each ad will typically be 70 to 120 seconds long

The focus is on creating ads that perform, not spending days perfecting visual polish.
