Mon–Fri | $650–$850/month + performance bonuses
I run a small DTC operation with the resources to scale further. We create
mostly AI UGC-style video ads, so I'm looking for someone very comfortable
using AI tools to create high-quality ad creatives fast.
The creatives you make run as paid ads on Meta —
feeds, reels, and stories.
This is NOT a "make things look cinematic" job. This is a marketing-first
editing role. Every cut, every caption, every transition exists for one
reason: to stop the scroll and drive the click. If a beautiful transition
doesn't help the ad convert, it doesn't go in.
HOW WE OPERATE
We run three stores. One is a US-made product, long-term brand. The other
two are testing stores where we validate new dropshipping products.
This matters for how you'll work. One week I might need a few creatives for
the US brand. The next week the focus shifts entirely to a testing product.
The workload moves with demand. The workflow stays the same. Nothing changes.
To be clear: this is NOT a role where I expect 50 creatives a week for each
store. What I need is someone who can switch between stores without losing
quality and move fast and loose when we're testing something new.
THE STYLE WE MAKE — READ THIS CAREFULLY
Everything we produce is UGC-style: ads that look like a real person filmed
themselves on a phone, not like a brand commercial. That is the entire point.
The moment an ad looks polished or produced, people recognize it as an ad
and scroll past.
In practice that means:
- Talking-head delivery, straight to camera, casual and unscripted-feeling
- Handheld energy, imperfect framing, natural lighting — not studio-clean
- Hard cuts every 2–4 seconds, no fancy transitions, no cinematic color grades
- Big readable captions burned in, because most people watch with sound off
- B-roll cut in to show the product doing the thing being talked about
- The first 2 seconds must stop the scroll or nothing else matters
The hard part with AI: making an AI avatar and AI voiceover feel like a real
person instead of a corporate presenter. If your HeyGen output looks like a
news anchor, it will not convert. Prompting and editing your way to something
that feels human is the core skill I'm hiring for.
MUST KNOW HOW TO PROMPT AND USE:
Higgsfield (Image / Video generations — mostly B-ROLL)
HeyGen (Avatar / Video generations) -> Mostly Talking Heads
ElevenLabs (Voice overs)
ChatGPT / Claude (For prompting)
Notion (our business operates in Notion) (Simple use)
Google Drive (where we organize and save videos/assets)
CapCut and/or Adobe Premiere Pro
YOU SHOULD UNDERSTAND:
AI avatars
AI voiceovers
Prompting for realistic outputs
UGC-style ad structure
Hooks, pacing, captions, b-roll
Meta ad creative testing
Fast creative variations
Working within a defined brand style when the project calls for it
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
We will give you the script and a reference video, competitor ad, or idea,
and you'll turn it into an AI UGC-style video ad ready to test on
and Instagram.
You should be able to move fast, follow instructions, and improve creative
quality over time.
REQUIREMENTS:
Must speak English fluently
Must have a portfolio
Must be comfortable with AI tools and willing to learn new ones as they appear
Must be organized and able to work inside Notion
Must be available Monday to Friday. No weekend work expected.
Must be able to adapt between different products, brands, and styles
Must understand that this is a performance creative role, not just a
design/editing role
WHAT YOU GET:
$650–$850/month depending on experience and speed
Performance bonuses on ads that win and scale
Long-term role with room to grow.
HOW TO APPLY — IMPORTANT (otherwise I won't even open your application)
Start your application with the letter "X" in your TITLE, not the
application text.
Then include:
1. Your portfolio (Just a Google Drive link is enough. I don't care about
"beautiful" presentations.) If you have UGC-style, direct response, or
Meta/Instagram ads in there, put those first — that's what I'm looking at.
2. Years of experience and where you worked. (A project, a business, solo
projects, hobbies around video editing)
3. Which tools you have used: Higgsfield, HeyGen, ElevenLabs, ChatGPT,
Claude, Notion, Google Drive
4. Your expected monthly salary in USD within the $650–$850 range —
if more than that, explain why
5. How many videos you can realistically create per week (IMPORTANT)
IMPORTANT: Applications that do not start with X will not be reviewed.
SAMPLE EDIT
If you qualify after I review your portfolio, I'll reach out and ask you to
hop on a video call. Then I'll ask you to do a sample edit of around 30
seconds (no tools or payment included for the sample edit) — a UGC-style ad from a script I'll give you — to see your
skills in action. If I like what I see, you're hired!
