### **Role Overview**
Something New is a performance marketing agency that helps E-commerce (D2C) brands grow. We are looking for a **Senior Video Editor** to join our production team.
In this role, you will be responsible for editing high-quality video ads for our clients (distributed through Meta, TikTok) and internal content for the agency (distributed through YouTube, Social Media). You will work within our **CreativeOS** system to receive briefs and deliver assets.
This is a 100% execution role, but you must be resourceful. While we provide the scripts and strategy, you will often need to **source B-roll (Stock or AI)** and **generate Voiceovers (AI), Generate Ai B-roll** to bring the script to life. Your job is to take the concept and build a professional, high-converting video quickly.

### **Core Responsibilities**
- **Edit Performance Ads:** Create Direct Response video ads (UGC, VSLs, Founder Stories) based on provided storyboards and scripts.
- **Source & Generate Assets:** When raw footage is not provided, you must find high-quality Stock B-roll or generate AI visuals to match the script.
- **AI Voiceover Production:** You will use tools like **ElevenLabs** to generate, pace, and mix realistic voiceovers when a human voice is not provided.
- **Edit Internal Content:** Produce long-form videos for the agency’s YouTube channel and short clips for organic social media.
- **Motion Graphics:** Create "Pattern Interrupts" (kinetic typography, visual overlays, and animations) to keep viewers engaged and stop the scroll.
- **Create Variations:** Rapidly produce 5–10 versions of a single video by changing the "Hook" (first 3 seconds), music, or background/b-roll footage.
- **Audio & Colour:** Clean up background noise (using AI tools), sync voiceovers, and colour grade raw footage to look professional.
- **Asset Management:** Organise all project files and exports inside our **CreativeOS (Notion)**. You must ensure files are easy for the team to find.

### **Required Skills & Tools**
You must be fluent in the following software and workflows:
1. **Professional Editing Software:** You must be fast and proficient in **Premiere Pro**, **CapCut Pro**, **DaVinci Resolve**, or **Final Cut Pro**. *Note: The final result must look polished and professional, not "cheap."*
2. **Motion & Visual Effects:** You must be able to create custom text animations and visual overlays. (You can use After Effects, CapCut Motion, or other compositing tools).
3. **AI Workflow:** You must be experienced in using **ElevenLabs** (for Voiceovers) and AI tools for sourcing/generating B-roll.
4. **CreativeOS / Notion:** You will use this daily to manage tasks and find assets.
5. **Stock Footage Sourcing:** Ability to quickly find "on-brand" B-roll from stock libraries that doesn't look like generic stock footage.

### **Expected Deliverables**
- **Volume:** You will be expected to deliver **10 to 20 unique video assets per week** once fully onboarded.
- **Accuracy:** Videos must be exported in the correct format for each platform (9:16 for TikTok/Reels, 16:9 for YouTube) with correct "Safe Zones" for text.
- **Speed:** You must be able to turn around revisions within 24 hours.

### **Hardware & Internet Requirements**
- **Computer:** A powerful PC or Mac capable of rendering 4K footage and running After Effects without lagging (Recommended: 32GB RAM minimum).
- **Internet:** High-speed connection (Fiber recommended) with a backup solution in case of outages.
- **Power:** Access to a generator or power station (e.g., EcoFlow) to handle power interruptions.
