JOB OVERVIEW

---------- Developer / Implementation Specialist

We are looking for an experienced ---------- Developer / Implementation Specialist to help us build and manage the technical infrastructure for our clients.

We are an email marketing agency working with eCommerce and online businesses. Our team handles the strategy, copy, design, and overall customer journey.

We need someone technical who can handle the backend implementation and make sure ---------- is properly connected to each client's website, application, or eCommerce platform.

This is not simply an email design or campaign-building role.

We need someone who understands ---------- technically and knows how to make sure the correct customer data, events, attributes, and triggers are being sent into the platform.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for things such as:

Setting up ---------- accounts for clients
Connecting ---------- to client websites, applications, or eCommerce platforms
Installing and configuring ---------- tracking
Setting up API integrations, webhooks, and data connections
Creating and validating custom events
Creating customer/profile attributes
Setting up behavioral and event-based triggers
Making sure events are firing correctly
Building the technical logic behind automated email/SMS journeys
Setting up segments based on customer behavior and attributes
Troubleshooting tracking or integration issues
Documenting how integrations and events have been configured

Examples of events we may need to track include:

Product Viewed
Collection/Page Viewed
Added to Cart
Checkout Started
Checkout Abandoned
Purchase Completed
Subscription Started
Subscription Cancelled
Product Reordered
Form Submitted
Account Created
Customer Login
Custom client-specific actions

You should be comfortable determining how the event needs to be captured, how the data should be sent into ---------- , and how that event should trigger the correct automation.

Experience with tools such as Segment, RudderStack, Google Tag Manager, Zapier, Make, or similar integration/data platforms is also beneficial.

What We Are Looking For

We want someone who can be given a customer journey such as:

Customer views a product → does not purchase → trigger Browse Abandonment flow

…and understand exactly what needs to happen technically to make that work.

You should be able to identify:

What event needs to be tracked
What properties need to be attached to that event
How the event gets sent into ----------
How the customer should be identified
What trigger/segment should be created
How to test that everything is working correctly

We do not want someone who needs detailed instructions for every technical step.

We are looking for someone who can understand the desired outcome, recommend the correct implementation, build it, test it, and troubleshoot it.

Important
