JOB OVERVIEW

Position Overview:

This is a full-time, fully remote role for a Customer Support & Compliance Analyst supporting a financial institution that uses cryptocurrency and stablecoins to power its operations. This is a hybrid role, weighted toward compliance.

The majority of your time will be spent reviewing retail applicants from a compliance perspective: verifying identity documentation, requesting additional information, managing resubmissions, conducting customer due diligence and AML screening, and escalating high-risk cases. You'll work closely with the Compliance Manager to refine onboarding workflows and ensure adherence to global AML/CTF standards.

The remainder of your time will be spent on customer support: responding to customer inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining a high level of customer service. Much of the compliance review work is customer-facing, since it means communicating clearly with applicants about what's needed and why.

Required Qualifications:

• 1+ years of hands-on KYC/AML or retail onboarding experience at a fintech, payments, bank, or crypto company. This is a requirement, not a preference. We're looking for someone who has already done this work elsewhere and does not need to learn it here
• Direct experience reviewing retail applications end to end: document verification, discrepancy resolution, and making approve, reject, or escalate decisions
• Working knowledge of AML/CTF requirements, FATF standards, and KYC best practices for retail customers
• Hands-on familiarity with identity verification platforms and screening databases. Please name the specific tools you've used
• Excellent written and verbal English. Native or near-native fluency
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Able to balance multiple high-urgency tasks, and ruthlessly prioritize
• Detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable handling sensitive customer data
• Personal experience with cryptocurrencies, and a strong understanding of how they work
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred

You must be available to work 40 hours a week and have flexibility on shift timing.
