JOB OVERVIEW

Customer Support & Chargeback Specialist (E-commerce) | Full-Time, Long-Term

Salary: $450/month to start, full-time, with performance bonuses and salary reviews every quarter. We promote from within and pay for results, so there is significant room to grow your salary over time.

About Us

We are a fast-growing international e-commerce brand selling health and beauty products across the UK, US, Canada, and Australia. We are a small, sharp team that values intelligence, ownership, and doing things properly.

You will not be alone. You will work side by side with our current customer support specialist, who will train you and share the workload, and you will have direct contact with both founders. Real responsibility from day one, but with full support behind you.

The Role

You will be the backbone of our customer support operation. Your job is to keep customers happy, resolve issues quickly and professionally, and help us build systems that make support run smoothly as we scale.

Your responsibilities

- Handle the customer support inbox daily (email) with fast, professional, well-written replies
- Manage order issues: tracking questions, address changes, refunds, subscription questions
- Follow and improve our support templates and escalation processes
- Create and maintain SOPs in Notion so every process is documented and repeatable
- Keep organized records in Google Sheets / Excel
- Handle chargebacks and payment disputes: gather evidence, organize documentation, and prepare dispute responses following our proven playbook
- Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) effectively in your daily work to draft, research, and work faster without sacrificing quality

Requirements (must-haves)

- Perfect written English. Not "good". Perfect. Your replies go directly to customers in the UK, US, Canada, and Australia.
- High attention to detail and strong logical thinking. You can read a situation, understand what actually happened, and choose the right response without being told every step.
- Experience with chargebacks and payment disputes (Visa, Mastercard, PayPal). You will be responsible for preparing dispute responses, so you must understand evidence requirements and how disputes work. Tell us about your experience in detail in your application.
- Comfortable using AI tools and LLMs (ChatGPT, Claude, or similar) as part of your daily workflow. You know how to prompt well, verify outputs, and use AI to work faster without letting quality slip.
- E-commerce customer support experience(Shopify experience is a strong plus)
- Notion proficiency is required. You should be comfortable creating structured documentation and SOPs in Notion.
- Comfortable with Google Sheets and Excel
- Highly organized, self-managing, and reliable. You take ownership and do not need micromanagement.
- Available full-time and looking for a long-term, stable position. We are not looking for freelancers juggling multiple clients.

Big plus (not required)

- Experience with subscription-based businesses
- Experience with PayPal disputes dashboard, or similar
- Experience winning Visa or Mastercard disputes specifically (if you know what compelling evidence means, mention it)

What We Offer

- $450/month full-time starting salary
- Performance bonuses
- Salary review every quarter. Strong performers grow fast here.
- Long-term stability. We want someone who stays and grows with the company for years.
- A real team: you work alongside an experienced support specialist and have direct access to both founders
- Real responsibility and a role that expands as you prove yourself

How to Apply

Read carefully. Applications that do not follow these instructions will not be reviewed.

1. Start your application with the word **PINEAPPLE** as the very first word.
2. In 3 to 5 sentences, describe the most difficult customer support situation you have handled and exactly how you resolved it.
3. Answer this scenario in your own words : A customer emails saying "I never received my order" but the tracking shows it was delivered 5 days ago to their address. Write the exact reply you would send to this customer.
4. Tell us your experience level with Notion (be honest) and describe your experience with chargebacks and disputes: which platforms, which dispute types, and your results.
5. Include your expected start date.

We reply to every serious application.
