We are not looking for a traditional "salesperson." We need a detail-oriented Coordinator who can manage the technical gap between a customer’s vague idea and a designer’s final output. This role is about accuracy, clarity, and critical thinking—not following a script.
*** The Core Reality of the Role
You will manage inbound enquiries, providing pricing and design revisions until the customer is ready to buy. When volume is lower, you will pivot to data collection, competitor research, and report preparation.
*** Key Responsibilities:
- Design Translation: Take vague customer requests and turn them into precise, technical instructions for our design team.
- Order Accuracy: Prepare and double-check complex order forms. You must be able to spot a tiny data error before it becomes an expensive production mistake.
- Adobe Illustrator (Bonus): Ability to make minor tweaks to designs yourself is a massive advantage.
- Data & Research: High-level spreadsheet work and general research to support the team.
*** Critical Requirements
- Exceptional English: You must be able to navigate the nuances of New Zealand English and communicate with high professional clarity.
- No Scripts, No AI: We need a human who can think. If you rely on templates or ChatGPT to speak for you, this is not the role for you.
- Obsessive Attention to Detail: You will be checking your own work and the work of others. Accuracy is non-negotiable.
- Spreadsheet Proficiency: You should be comfortable managing data and creating organized reports.
