**Customer Service Manager (eBay & E-commerce Sales) – Long Term Career Role Remote**
**Pay:** $5/hour + **$2 per order closed** + performance bonuses

About the Role

We are an e-commerce company selling automotive wheels (rims) online.

We are hiring a **Customer Service Manager (eBay & E-commerce Sales)** to manage customer conversations, resolve issues, and help convert inquiries into orders. Our tea ---------- mbers join our company and we help them build careers.

This role covers both eBay and our website, with the primary focus on **eBay as you learn and train.**

This is not passive customer service. This is a **sales and problem-solving role.**

You will be handling conversations all day — answering questions, solving problems, and guiding customers toward decisions.

Important (Read Carefully)

This role requires:

• Responding to customer messages within **5 minutes**
• Strong written English (we will also provide you with templates)
• Attention to detail
• Ability to follow systems and templates
• A sales mindset (not passive support)

You are expected to actively monitor messages during your shift.
Delayed responses or missed messages are not acceptable.

Schedule

This role is **5 days per week** during your assigned shift.
(Weekend coverage will be handled separately as the team expands.)

Shifts are based on Eastern Standard Time (EST):

• Shift 1: **7:00 AM – 3:00 PM EST**
• Shift 2: **3:00 PM – 11:00 PM EST**

You will be assigned one consistent shift.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Responding to customer messages quickly and professionally
• Guiding customers toward purchasing decisions
• Answering fitment questions using our systems
• Handling customer issues and resolving them using our solution templates
• Taking full ownership of conversations from start to finish
• Solving problems efficiently without unnecessary escalation

How You’ll Work

We will train you on **exactly what to say and how to respond.**

We already have **100–200 proven templates** for common questions.

Your role is to:

• Identify the type of question
• Select the correct response
• Adjust it slightly if needed
• Send quickly and clearly

You are not expected to guess. You are expected to follow the system and execute at a high level.

Training

You will receive **paid training over the course of 2 weeks to 1 month**, where you will learn:

• How to answer fitment questions
• How to use our systems and templates
• How to communicate clearly, confidently, and naturally

Work Expectations

Some days will be busy with a high volume of messages, while other days will be slower.

Regardless of volume, you are expected to:

• Remain available during your shift
• Respond to all customer messages within 2–5 minutes
• Stay organized and consistent

This role includes both active work and standby time. During slower periods, you are still expected to remain available and ready to respond quickly whenever a message comes in.

How This Role Works

• You can use your phone or computer — all communication is via messaging
• **Your phone is your main tool — you do not need to be on a computer at all times**
• You must be able to respond quickly while maintaining accuracy and professionalism

This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable working evening hours or is naturally a night owl.

Ideal Candidate

• Strong English communication (Intermediate required)
• Experience in customer service or sales
• Fast and reliable internet
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Calm, clear, and confident communicator
• Strong problem-solving ability
• **Experience leading a team (preferred)**

We are looking for someone who can communicate **smoothly and naturally — not robotic or overly scripted.**

This role has growth potential. We are looking for someone who can eventually **lead and manage a team of customer service representatives** as the company scales.

Bonus (Not Required)

• Experience with eBay
• Experience with automotive parts or wheels (**strong asset**)
• Sales or closing experience
• Experience handling high message volume

Compensation

• $5/hour base
• **$2 per order closed from conversations you handle**
• Performance bonuses based on responsiveness and results

This is a long-term role. Strong performers will earn more as volume increases.
