Hi, and thanks for reading this all the way through.
DO NOT APPLY USING AI. I want to see YOUR words.
I'm a serial software entrepreneur (I've built and sold companies before), and I'm now building a portfolio of new software products. I move fast, and I need a sharp, curious right hand who can jump onto whatever is in front of me on any given day.
Right now my biggest need is software testing: clicking through web apps across many test sites, following a checklist, and clearly documenting what works and what breaks. But this is NOT a career-QA role, and I am not looking for a QA specialist. I want a smart, detail-obsessed generalist (a true "person Friday") who can learn any of my products quickly and take on whatever matters most that week.
What you'll do (it varies week to week):
- Test web applications across multiple sites, and report bugs clearly with screenshots and exact steps to reproduce
- Learn several different software products so I can hand you almost anything
- Research, data cleanup, organizing, follow-ups, and general assistant work
- Whatever the current priority is. I'll show you fast, and you run with it
Who you are:
- Fluent in English, spoken and written. This is a hard requirement with no exceptions, because we will talk often
- On a solid, reliable internet connection good enough for regular video calls. This is also non-negotiable
- Extremely detail-oriented. This is the single most important trait
- Genuinely curious and a fast self-starter. Aptitude beats years of experience
- Already using AI every day, and hungry to get much better at it
- Comfortable being shown something once and then running with it
- Reliable, communicative, and honest about what you don't know
A note on why English and internet are non-negotiable: I'd much rather hop on a quick video call and show you something in two minutes than type it out over ten. That only works if your English is strong and your connection is stable. If either one is missing, this is not the right match, and that's okay.
What you get:
- A paid Claude (AI) subscription, and a spot in my shared AI workspace, so you'll work with cutting-edge AI every single day
- A front-row view of how modern software actually gets built and tested
- Steady, ongoing work with real room to grow into more responsibility and higher pay as you prove yourself
- Fair pay based on your skill and reliability, with raises as you take on more
Details:
- Part-time to start, with flexible hours and room to grow
- Long-term working relationship, not a one-off gig
How to apply (please read carefully, because I filter hard on attention to detail):
- Start your reply with the word CURIOUS, so I know you read this whole post
- In two or three sentences, tell me the last thing you taught yourself using AI, and how you did it
- Briefly describe one time you caught a small detail that everyone else missed
Applications that skip any of these three steps will not be read. I'm looking forward to meeting a sharp, curious person who wants to learn fast and grow with me.
