Job Description:
We are hiring a skilled Credit Repair & Dispute Processing Specialist to review client credit reports, identify errors, and execute winning dispute strategies using industry-leading tools. This role requires knowledge of U.S. consumer protection laws, advanced dispute tactics, and the ability to produce results for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze Experian, TransUnion, and Equifax credit reports for errors and inconsistencies
Dispute negative items (collections, charge-offs, late payments, bankruptcies, inquiries)
Draft/send dispute letters via LetterStream or similar platforms
Apply advanced methods (data breach deletions, credit sweeps, Metro 2 compliance disputes)
Freeze/remove data from LexisNexis, Innovis, CoreLogic, SageStream, etc..
Provide monthly case updates and client support
Legal Knowledge Required:
FCRA, FCBA, FDCPA, ECOA, GLBA, FACTA
12 CFR 1026.13 – Billing Error Resolution
15 USC §1635 – Right of Rescission
Metro 2 Credit Reporting Standards
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year credit repair/dispute processing experience
Familiarity with Credit Repair Cloud, Dispute Panda, or DisputeFox
Strong written communication skills
Reliable internet & computer
Attention to detail and organization skills
Preferred Skills:
CFPB complaint filing experience
Legal writing ability
Knowledge of case law in credit reporting violations
Wage/Salary:
$3-$4 USD/ (depending on experience) + performance bonuses
Hours per Week:
20–40 hours/week (flexible, remote)
