About the Position
We are looking for an experienced Credit Repair Virtual Assistant / Credit Specialist who already understands the credit repair industry.
This is NOT an entry-level position.
You should already be comfortable reading consumer credit reports, identifying negative accounts and inaccuracies, understanding the dispute process, and working with clients who are trying to improve their credit profiles.
We have our own credit software and system. You will receive training on our software, workflow, and company procedures, but we are specifically looking for someone who already has a strong foundation in credit.
Responsibilities
Review consumer credit reports from all three major credit bureaus
Identify negative, inaccurate, incomplete, or potentially disputable information
Assist with preparing and managing credit disputes
Track dispute progress and results
Maintain accurate client records inside our credit software
Follow up on dispute rounds and client accounts
Help onboard new credit clients
Communicate professionally with clients regarding their account progress
Follow company SOPs and compliance requirements
Protect confidential client information
Assist with lead follow-up and converting interested prospects into paying clients
Help maintain long-term client relationships
Credit Knowledge Required
Applicants should already understand:
Experian, Equifax, and TransUnion credit reports
Credit scores and credit utilization
Collections
Charge-offs
Late payments
Repossessions
Hard inquiries
Public-record information as applicable
Credit card utilization
Authorized-user accounts
Dispute processes and dispute tracking
Consumer credit terminology
Basic knowledge of the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA)
The importance of accurate, truthful, and compliant credit disputes

Preferred Experience
Experience with any credit repair CRM or dispute software is a plus.
Previous experience working for a:
Credit repair company
Credit consulting company
Credit restoration company
Financial services company
is strongly preferred.
Important
We are NOT looking for someone who needs to be taught credit repair from the beginning.
We will train you on our specific software and company systems, but you should already understand how to read a credit report and how the credit dispute process works.
