We are seeking an experienced and highly professional Credit Controller to join our outsourced finance team based in the Philippines. The successful candidate will be responsible for chasing overdue invoices, managing client relationships, and ensuring timely payments in line with agreed credit terms.
This role requires strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and a solid understanding of payment processes and accounts receivable.
Key Responsibilities:
Chase overdue Business Rates invoices by telephone,
Communicate professionally with businesses regarding outstanding Business Rates liabilities
Explain payment options, instalment plans, and due dates clearly to ratepayers
Resolve billing queries, disputes, and account discrepancies efficiently
Work within the hours of 9-5 GMT UK time
Allocate and reconcile payments accurately against Business Rates accounts
Maintain accurate records of all client communications and actions taken
Monitor aged debt and prioritise recovery actions accordingly
Escalate long-overdue or non-paying accounts in line with agreed procedures
Produce regular reports on outstanding debt and collection performance
Work closely with internal teams to ensure accurate billing and account updates
