About the Role:
We are a Commercial Consulting Inc. (AB, Canada) is looking for a detail-oriented Credit Analyst with a strong background in finance and accounting. Unlike back-office roles, this position requires you to be at the forefront of our operations—interacting directly with our Canadian clients to collect documents, assess financial health, and participate in strategic planning meetings.
Key Responsibilities
Client Document Collection: Proactively reach out to clients to gather financial statements, tax returns, bank statements, and legal documents.
Financial Analysis: Perform deep-dive analysis of client financials (Balance Sheets, P&L, Cash Flow) to determine creditworthiness and "bank-readiness."
Client Communication: Explain complex financial requirements to clients in clear, professional English. You will be the bridge between their raw data and our consulting advice.
Meeting Participation: Attend online meetings to understand client needs and provide real-time feedback on their financial standing.
Report Preparation: Draft comprehensive credit summaries and financial health reports for the management team.
The 3 Must-Have Qualifications
Strong Finance/Accounting Background: A degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
Exceptional English Command: You must have a "near-native" level of English, both written and spoken. You will be representing our firm to Canadian business owners.
Real Estate or Lending Experience: Familiarity with real estate financial modeling or commercial loan processing is a significant asset.
